I’m currently wearing vejas @Theteapotsbrokenspout. I have 2 different sorts. The ones I got from Toast at Christmas haven’t needed breaking in at all.

off-piste again, hope no-one minds. Has anyone heard of a company called Ninety Percent? It's stocked by JL and Net-a-Porter and they have some lovely, unusual joggers - in the JL sale very reduced. I've ordered some in brown from the brand website and then these from JL to try

Still not really liking much .

Quite like the new shorts and a couple of pairs of linen trousers, but it is blowing a gale and pouring rain here, with snow and ice forecast, so I can’t quite imagine that I could wear them anytime soon!

I went to the Marlow Toast shop to have a mooch round. Didn't buy anything, and there was no sign of the beaded shirt, which was a bit disappointing. The bright orange pinafore and skirt were lovely, but nearly £200 for a wrap skirt is too much!

Love the grass green wool cashmere sweater and also the cotton linen wrap wrap dress - am thinking about both of these. Does anyone have them and can give feedback?

Not too impressed by the new things on the site. Roll on more stock!!

I'm with Scottishmouse - finding it hard to think about very summery linen shorts and those check cropped trousers might be nice. I quite like the coquelicot jumper but don't need anymore jumpers. They'd be better off stocking some mid season stuff. Really looking forward to the new Alix trousers someone said they saw

That was me @faustina. The Edinburgh shop said they got a couple of pairs maybe two weeks ago, but no more. I asked in the chat and they couldn’t tell me when they would be online. 🙄

I reckon most of their spring stuff is stuck on a ship or lorry somewhere!

There are a lot of sizes not yet in stock in the new items, so that could definitely be the case @faustina.

I will give the shorts a try probably when the size I think I want are in stock. Agree it’s not the weather for them but by the time I decided I wanted shorts last year I had missed the boat in all the shops.

I liked the pink linen dress for all of 5 seconds, but I thought I might look as if I was out in my nightie, then discovered it was pictured on the video for tomorrow so that sort of confirms it,

Everything is still quite brown. There’s a fabulous quilt but I haven’t a room it would go in 😳

Still not really liking much .

I'm finding it hard to like the colours. I do like the linen easy dress [ the one that is a-line ] and the lovely shorts. I agree with everyone about linen and the weather atm. It just doesn't fit. I won't be buying and having things lying around my wardrobe until the weather is better. I also agree, looks like they are having delivery issues as a lot of the items added are not in stock in a lot of sizes.

My Kin items were disappointing. Not awful just not sparking joy... also sweatshirt ridiculously oversized and joggers snug.

First time ordering from Brora so don't know if will fit and suit. Also don't know how long they'll take to reach me or whether I'll be fleeced for a fortune in customs charges. Wouldn't have bought them at full price, but at half price was tempted and fell.

nocure, I'm glad to know that beautiful green cardigan is bulkifying; I can stop obsessing about it. It would also probably be too short for me.

stoic, the crinkled dress is very nice, isn't it? I wore it the other day and felt great.

am looking forward to more dresses appearing on the website. But why oh why do they not put actually new stuff under 'new'? It would be such an obvious convenience to able to click 'new' and see the new additions.

except the lampshade hat. no-one wants to see that, however new it is. and a ribbon will not redeem it.

@lordloveadog - I will keep my fingers crossed for them all being a success! You could accessorise the tweed jacket with a pipe for the full effect if it fits!

@NoCureForLove - that's rubbish about the Kin order. Perhaps you could take a look at Ninety Percent? They had some lovely things (and I got 10% discount for my first order). Kin are so hit and miss. I also ordered a denim jacket and it went straight back - made me look like an unsuccessful country and western singer

@lordloveadog the pink version of the lampshade hat was particularly vile. Germolene pink.

This summer I styled a beautiful toast nightie by getting up, straightening it out, brushing my hair and teeth, putting on my sunglasses and sandals and going out to walk the dog and buy rolls looking like I was already sporting a rather fancy summer dress before breakfast. Never felt like I was winning at life like I did on those mornings.

Nocure yes. Can't wait for those warm days again. Changing out of night clothes is immensely overrated. Especially if you've paid 90 euros for them.
