KingofQueens its early access for Kindred members by email invite atm ... So if you are one then you need to go through the email link they have sent....if it is as usual it probably will go live for general access this morning

mizu · 23/12/2021 09:44

I thought I had signed up but no early access email for me - sob. Must be patient.

Laceoff · 23/12/2021 09:49

23 items on my wishlist and not one in the sale. I shall spend the next week refreshing Toast pages for 'new lines added'.

Yeah, I'm signed up to Kindred and normally get early access. Confused
dudsville · 23/12/2021 12:05

KingofQueens, have you messaged them? There's very little in the sale, old stuff except for the corduroy dresses I think.

dudsville · 23/12/2021 12:06

Meant to say that understsandably however you would still want to know what's in it!

dudsville · 23/12/2021 12:13

I do like it when they put old stock out. The orange coat is case in point. I would never buy it full price. I can lust after some things all I want but I'm saving for retirement and that is important too! I think I've only made one non-sale purchase the denim pleated trousers. They've had a ton of wear. I like to imagine myself wearing all my lovely toast things when I am very old and living in a cabin off in the countryside somehere.

dudsville · 23/12/2021 12:15

I've just had a delivery email and the wrongly discounted scarf is in the package.

faustina · 23/12/2021 13:03

oh dudsville - that's so annoying!

about the sale - it has quite a good selection of robes and pyjamas from this season actually
@KingofQueens have you tried logging in before clicking on the sale link on this thread? It should work if you're kindred

KingofQueens · 23/12/2021 13:42

Thank you, yes, I've tried logging in first. Super strange. Do you think they can revoke your Kindred membership if you don't order enough.

SmaugMum · 23/12/2021 13:55

Well my (full-price) Fracap Explorer boots arrived today and they are lush. My Kindred gift was a beautifully packaged set of four marigold baubles. Chuffed to bits, especially as the boots were paid for by a premium bonds win - and I’m mightily relieved to see that they are not in the sale.

I’ve also had dispatch notes for the washed linen napkins I ordered in the sale (four in chalk white and four in quince). There is every chance that they could arrive tomorrow and my Christmas table will be elevated to Toast heights!

dudsville · 23/12/2021 13:59

Faustina, thanks for the sympathy, but it's misplaced! This is the massively, overly, discounted-in-my-favour scarf. The scarf that I appear to be getting for £14. I thought they might see their error and assuage me of my guilt by correcting the sale price, but no! Perhaps one of them will read this thread and then ring me to collect their money!

dudsville · 23/12/2021 14:17

Smaug I hope you get those napkins in time, that's a level of fancy I admire! Hope you have some suitable home thrown crockery!

dudsville · 23/12/2021 14:18

And I just googled your boots, they are beautiful.

ToastCosILoveIt · 23/12/2021 14:22

@SmaugMum, interested to know if the Fracap boots are true to size?

faustina · 23/12/2021 14:32

@dudsville - which scarf did you get????

dudsville · 23/12/2021 15:02

The fair Isle scarf, £95. I think it's in the sale for £60 ish. Looks like I'm only paying £14.

Winner!
neveradullmoment99 · 23/12/2021 15:59

That is a beautiful scarf.

faustina · 23/12/2021 16:11

What a lovely Christmas surprise!

Mariclaire82 · 23/12/2021 16:32

Wow- the chat are a bit sharp when talking about Kindred, they did NOT want to share the criteria for being bestowed with Kindred status!

Ive been a customer for literally years and years. I thought the criteria was the one that were loyal customers for years.

Well, I have some crockery that looks like it could have been home thrown (by my give-year-old); does that count?!
SmaugMum · 23/12/2021 16:42

…five-year-old.
@SmaugMum, interested to know if the Fracap boots are true to size?
Yes, I would say they are true to size. I actually have the other Fracap boots, the Hikers, but I have to wear them with boot socks as they are a generous fit (and, weirdly and annoyingly, always let in stones, probably because they gape a bit at the ankle). The Explorers are a sturdier but more elegant boot, in my opinion, and have a narrower silhouette so I think they will look equally as good with dresses and skirts as my cord Gabis. I’m very pleased with them. They are also exceedingly comfortable as I unboxed them, wore them and went out for a big yomp and it felt like walking on clouds!
