I want a non white wedding dress. Please help!

I'm getting married next year - it will be the second time, after a disastrous marriage in my mid to late twenties. We divorced and my now fiance and I got together quite quickly, and also had a baby relatively quickly! Anyway, what I'm trying to say is I don't want a white ans weddingy dress 🙈

I think it's fine, once you are more formal shoes, jewellery and a bouquet it will look quite bridal. It's a beautiful colour.

Fabulous! A friend of mine got married in sparkly iron grey and I agree with PP that it's the whole package that is bridal, not just the dress. The dress you've chosen is beautiful

The first dress is "ok." Is it the dress that makes up want to twirl the hems and do an actual twirl?

Many years ago, friends married on 23rd December. She wore a dark green, velvet dress with hood trimmed with (false) ermine. She carried a red rose posy. It was spectacularly beautiful.

Congratulations @rainbowsandmagpies you are quite right, do not invite anyone to your wedding who does not know who the bride is.

I like the Vampire's Wife one better of the two. I think it could make a stunning wedding dress.

The Temperley dress is nice but £££ so might not be in OP's budget.

The second dress is great. First one is a bit meh for me

I like your choice could definitely be bridal. I went to a specialist bridesmaid dress and bought a blue one for my wedding!

You look better in it than the model. It is gorgeous. Love the waist and think is is perfect. I also think you really love it snd that is the list important thing.

I don't think it's bridal enough. Think you need to go full length and something a bit more "special". As you said "too guesty"

I much prefer the Vampire's Wife one, but I don't think it would work in July/August. I don't like the first one, and it also isn't suitable for summer.

Do you want green? I don’t see it as a summer colour - the shape is important the ones I linked to are available in loads of other colours. What’s your colouring? I love green though.
