This year's thread for chat (and potentially) swaps for the 2021 Holland & Barrett beauty calendar.

No spoilers please! As per last year, can we please use 7am as a cut of point? So, if you are an early bird and open your door before 7am, please don't post until then. At some point during the day, I'll pop a link to that day's product in the thread.

Can't wait to open this one! Last year's was great...reusable earbud notwithstanding...

Day 13: Faith in Nature Dragon Fruit Shampoo Bar full size 85g

Not for me unfortunately as I don't use shampoo but I'll put it in DS's stocking so it will get used. Great that it's a full size product!

Yes, not a product I would buy, but would like to try. I’ll probably save it for travel ( in the hope we will still be able to)

Converted to shampoo bars this year and really enjoy them. They last ages and that's with washing my hair pretty much daily. Happy to add this to my stash.

Interesting one today not something I'd ever go for myself but willing to give it a go. Do you rub it on your hands to lather then rub hands through hair or rub the soap directly against your hair?

I cheated and opened this last night as my other shampoo had run out and I could remember this was in there somewhere... I'm really pleased with it, my hair feels soft and clean this morning.

@cheeriobye I find wetting my hair and the bar and then rubbing the bar on my hair is the best wat to get a lather.

I prefer to wet hair & hands, rub bar in hands until I get a nice lather then apply. I normally lather in hands twice for a good shampoo.

Pleased with today's offering. I always use shampoo bars, and haven't tried this brand. Smells lovely, but I started a new bar yesterday so I won't be trying this one out for a while. My tip with shampoo bars is to make sure you don't leave them sitting in water, as keeping them dryer betweej uses means they last longer.

Love a solid shampoo but this is far too fragranced for me- one for a stocking filler.

Today’s is ok and will be nice to try but again it is a small size.

I don't mind the small sizes, half the point of a beauty advent calendar is to try new things and then buy the bigger version if I find something that really works for me. Will give today's a go at the weekend.

Day 14: Ayumi Turmeric and Bergamot Face Mask 20ml

I don't mind the small size of this - it's nice to try things out and this is not expensive to buy the full size of (£5.99 for 100ml) if I like it. It's the pricey stuff that I want a generous sample of! [frgin]

I'm looking forward to trying this. The brand is good (we had a lovely body wash from them last year) and it's supposed to promote radiance and improvement of skin tone which I could definitely do with.

I'm also going to retract my previous whinge about the scent of the Dr Organics body wash. I've been using it for the past couple of days and it's actually really nice to use something fresh and summery when the weather outside is damp and grey.

Ok I also retract my whinge about the size!!! Obviously need to find some Christmas spirit!!!

You're allowed a whinge @mumonthehill! I'm sure I'll be complaining about something or other before we're done with this I like hearing everyone else's opinions on the products. We're never all going to agree but that's part of the fun.
What are people hoping for in the last 11 days? I'd really like something for the bath or a face serum

I would like a richer moisturiser really, but am loving it, it's what gets me out of bed at the moment!

I know I'm going to love this as my skin really likes turmeric and it also smells lovely.

Looking forward to trying this, I loved the shower gel last year.

I'm also hoping for a lovely bath product, and maybe a serum and lip balm.

I'd love a gel/cream cleanser to try and a face oil and/or serum. Maybe an SPF too.... greedy much 😂

Also excited to try the face mask, loved the shower gel last year! I'd love a night cream or rich lip balm. Or a do-it-all balm for really dry skin!

I keep hoping for a lip balm each morning. Or a soap would be nice too.

Today's is a bit 😴😴😴

Was looking forward to opening a big box today. Rather disappointing to be honest.

It's the size of the box isn't it, gets your hopes up. Makes the disappointment stronger!

I'm not sure about brushing my teeth with hemp? If anyone uses it can we get some feedback please as we already have two tubes on the go so may be a while.
