Holland & Barrett 2021 advent calendar thread

This year's thread for chat (and potentially) swaps for the 2021 Holland & Barrett beauty calendar.

No spoilers please! As per last year, can we please use 7am as a cut of point? So, if you are an early bird and open your door before 7am, please don't post until then. At some point during the day, I'll pop a link to that day's product in the thread.

Can't wait to open this one! Last year's was great...reusable earbud notwithstanding...

The last item is my favourite out of both this and the space nk calendar. My skin loves it and the colour makes it feel like such a treat.

I’ll definitely be buying the calendar next year, it’s by far my favourite and I don’t mind a couple of DoDs at this price point. I just hope they don’t increase it again as a £50 calendar would come with different expectations I think.

It was my first time buying the H & B calendar so i can't compare to other years but i thought it was fabulous. Well worth £45. I loved the gold face mask. I tried it yesterday and my skin seems fresher looking today. The colour and smell are amazing.

I liked the fact that all the products were decent sizes. I have bought others calendars in the past where some of the offerings were sample size so I felt this one was well worth buying.

I used the gold mask this morning and it's really moisturising - love it!
I missed not having anything to open this morning

I used the gold mask this morning and it's really moisturising - love it! I missed not having anything to open this morning

Gold mask is luxurious and great value to be included.

I'm off to try the mask now. Overall I've enjoyed it this year, just not as much as last year. I'm going to try a different one next year but think I will return to the H&B one. Its such good value and I like that I'm trying ethical brands that are mostly new to me.

Thanks for starting the thread IToldYouIWasFreaky. I've enjoyed opening each days offerings with everyone here.

Whilst this calendar seemed good value for money at first, I'm not so sure now...

• The coffee eye cream has an overpowering smell. My partner asked me to throw it away!
• The guava shower gel smells of sweat, which isn't what I want to smell of after stepping out of the shower!
• The cactus face cream just flakes on my skin? I'm not sure cactus is good for a facial cream anyway?

I think most of the calendar may end up in the bin at this rate
