This year's thread for chat (and potentially) swaps for the 2021 Holland & Barrett beauty calendar.

No spoilers please! As per last year, can we please use 7am as a cut of point? So, if you are an early bird and open your door before 7am, please don't post until then. At some point during the day, I'll pop a link to that day's product in the thread.

Can't wait to open this one! Last year's was great...reusable earbud notwithstanding...

This is my Drawer of Disappointment! We got coconut toothpaste last year from the same company and it was pretty foul.

Honestly trying not to be a grumpy elf, so in that spirit I will look forward to trying the toothpaste even though I do think it is a bit rubbish! Last years was very odd.

Yep, I'll let someone else try this. Doesn't appeal to me and my sensitive teeth! I'd love a foaming face wash or a night serum or cream.

Well. OK. At least it's not coconut! They also do a spinach one so I think we can be grateful we don't have that!

Not happy with todays. Last years is still in the cupboard as well. There's no way im going to use it!
I tried the facemask last night. It was a bit stingy (and I haven't got sensitive skin) so not very pleasant to have on but my skin was lovely and soft afterwards I wouldn't buy again though.

Okay, so I've taken one for the team and tried it Grin The colour is very off putting, but it smells and tastes mildly of mint so is actually quite pleasant. I liked last years coconut one though, so I may be in the minority! My teeth feel clean but the lack of fluoride means I wouldn't switch long term.

Weird toothpaste has become a staple of the H&B calendar. I wish they’d drop it as it’s not exactly beauty but then I might miss seeing what random flavours they come up with Grin

It's actually all right, in my opinion, though I don't think I'd buy it again. A slight minty taste like normal ish toothpaste. I'm vegan though so perhaps I don't mind 'healthy' flavours as much as others might!

This is the first box that I've been really disappointed in. Can't even give to my daughter as I don't see the point in a fluoride free toothpaste.

Day 16: Oleus Jojoba Oil full size 50ml

I am so pleased with this! Exactly the kind of thing I wanted from this calendar. I've never tried it before but it says it can be used on face, hair and body, so looks perfect for sorting out dry winter skin. May also be suitable for oil cleansing?

Happy with todays as well after a disappointing few days. I've put a drop on my scaly elbows and they feel much smoother. I've also added a couple of drops to my night cream. I think I will try on my hair before I wash it. Lovely big bottle.

Totally agree , really lovely today and I also used it this morning and it was nice and light. I did also try the toothpaste, probably will not use again!!

Much better today. I use a facial oil at night anyway so will probably use this on my hair ( dry ends) and super scaly Winter legs

Disappointed by today's again. I have normal -oily hair and skin and there's no way id use this on my hair or face. I'll keep it and use as a carrier oil for aromatherapy but I already have a huge bottle for this purpose. Hoping tomorrow will be better.

I use oil on my face but my skin can be oily and I think this feels too heavy for me. There was a facial oil from True skincare in last years calendar which I love and have purchased since. I tried today's on my cuticles this morning though as they are always dry, and it was very nice.

Last night I used the hair oil, shampoo bar, gel exfoliator and mask and felt very pampered afterwards Smile

It would be helpful if today’s had come with instructions. Not sure what to do with it. Looks cheap compared to some I’ve seen.
