This year's thread for chat (and potentially) swaps for the 2021 Holland & Barrett beauty calendar.

No spoilers please! As per last year, can we please use 7am as a cut of point? So, if you are an early bird and open your door before 7am, please don't post until then. At some point during the day, I'll pop a link to that day's product in the thread.

Can't wait to open this one! Last year's was great...reusable earbud notwithstanding...

Day 5 Wetbrush Go Green Mini Detangler Brush

Bit of a duff one for me as I don't brush my hair. I also got hair stuff in my M&S which I can't use! Oh well, anything I can't use on my hair I pass to my sister or nieces so it won't go to waste.

This is perfect for me as DD steals my hair brushes and leaves them in her room so now I have a small hair brush I can hide 😂

I don't brush my hair often (wavy version of curly girl) but this is actually a lovely, gentle brush. I wasn't initially excited about it, but it's nice.

I had forgotten about that coffee scrub last year, I thought my face would never recover! 😂 Happy with this years, though not sure about the Ren, just because I don't use toner.

I tried the scrub and came out in a rash - my skin really didn’t like it, I think it’s just very sensitive to physical scrubs. The brush is fine, but not exciting- better than last year’s reusable earbud. Happy with today’s (but won’t say what it is as it’s before 7 am).

I tried the REN toner but my skin wasn't happy - my nose looked quite red and sore after.

I've got the day off today so still in bed, about to get up and have a look at todays Smile

Surprised by how much I like the brush, it's made me realise that my usual brush was ripping chunks out! Today's looks lovely but disappointing for me- I won't be able to use it as I'm allergic to one of the ingredients.

Day 6: -Natura Siberica Taiga Daily Protection Hand Cream Full size 30ml

Nice size to go in a handbag. It's a light, easily absorbed cream but perhaps not rich enough for my dry winter hands.

I wasn't very excited by today's offering but having tried it I'm really impressed. It doesn't leave any greasy residue like a lot of hand creams and smells lovely.

I like a hand cream and I'm always in the lookout for a good one. Please with this and love the smell. Reasonably priced so something I am likely to buy again in future.

I have quite sensitive skin on my hands and the hand cream from today is not good on my hands. Making them feel itchy and red straight away. I wonder what the offending ingredient is- maybe the perfume? My fave product so far is the eye cream despite the pump not working.

@Babymamamama I have a reaction to the pine oil extract. Gives me contact dermatitis.

@UnoriginalPenguin thanks yes that must be it. The reaction was straight away. It’s calmed down now. What a shame I opened it or I could have gifted it out. Oh well can leave in the bathroom for (less sensitive) guests I guess…
Wonder if the manufacturers are aware of this thread. We are doing a mini focus group for them for free. Grin

I know it's really late, but I just wanted to say I used the hair oil from the other day, and it smells lovely and left my dry hair and scalp nice and soft. I used a dab of it to run through my hair when going out as well, was nice and not greasy and washed out easily the next day.

Candle today. Smells nice but I don't do scented candles any more, I discovered last winter that they've started to make me cough. Anyone want it?
