No spoilers please! As per last year, can we please use 7am as a cut of point? So, if you are an early bird and open your door before 7am, please don't post until then. At some point during the day, I'll pop a link to that day's product in the thread.

Can't wait to open this one! Last year's was great...reusable earbud notwithstanding...

Day 7: AromaWorks Lavender & Petitgrain Candle

I'm not getting much of an aroma from this unlit. I've just lit it and it's burning away next to me on by desk so we'll see if it gets stronger. Although I kind of hope it's not too relaxing or I'll be dropping off when I should be working!

Love todays offering. Burning already and the smell is calming and peaceful without being too overpowering.

This is the first dud for me. I don't really like candles and DH hates the smell of lavender. However, I can pop it in teenage DD stocking, so not a complete waste.

And now I love the candle! I've had it burning for about half an hour, walked out of the room and came back in to a lovely lavender waft.
I am going to keep it for the evening as it's calm, relaxing scent.

Never heard of petitgrain before. I've got my christmas candles burning so will save for January.

Smells lovely!

My candle was smelling lovely before I'd even unboxed it! Plan to burn some later on. @DrRamsesEmerson, I had that problem with a candle made by someone, and I don't know the ingredient. I am hopeful that the soy content of this one will not prove a problem and also that the lavender, orange etc. oils are of the non-coughy variety!

@DrRamsesEmerson Do you want to swap me the candle for the hair oil? I can't use that one due to an avocado allergy. No worries if not of course.

I’m hoping there’s a serum in there somewhere as mine is about to run out

Not too excited about todays gift. It's quite runny and I prefer rich / thicker creams.

My skin doesn't feel particularly moisturised but does feel a little clammy.

I'll maybe keep this for a travel item.

When I opened box 8 I didn't know what it was and thought it was a nasal spray or something equally boring due to the box.

I'm pleased with today's as it'll be perfect for when I go abroad (wishful thinking!) I love yesterday's candle and will definitely buy a full size one once this is gone.

Really pleased with todays. I layer quite a few products in my skin care routine so this lighter moisturizer is perfect. I like the smell too.

I'm pleased with the moisturiser too. It's not shiny/greasy looking so I'm hoping it will be good for no makeup days.

I was hoping for a new day cream so am pleased with this - also really like this brand!
Not getting on well with the Ren toner though. I don't think I understand toners actually

Day 8: Weleda Hydrating Facial Lotion full size 30ml

I'm pleased with this! It looks lovely and Weleda is a great brand. I'm going to try not to open it until the summer as it looks light and matte and is a great size for travel.

Surprisingly, my favourite product so far has been the eye cream. I'm using it twice a day and love how well it sinks in without irritating my eyes. I get eczema on my eyelids and underneath my eye but nothing since using this.

I'd love a serum too. That rose scented serum/toner from last year was divine.

Ah yes. The Whasima flowers toner. That was so nice. Thanks for reminding me about that, off to buy it now!

I don't think this moisturiser is rich enough for my dry skin, but it is pleasant enough.

I burned a lot of the candle yesterday nearly halfway down. The wick has kind of folded over itself and the melted candle now puts the flame out. Anyone else had this?

I’m hoping for a night cream as I’ve run out!
