What do you really wear on Christmas Day?

We always spend Christmas with my sister in law. She’s no fashion slouch, but she’d never wear a velvet trouser suit (I imagine as much as anything else because between cooking and serving Christmas lunch it just wouldn’t be feasible). And yet I’ve just seen one touted in the national press as just the thing to wear for Christmas Day!!! I’m mad about clothes so am not advocating wearing onesies or PJs (although we’re all free to make our own choices) but I was just wondering what people who make Christmas lunch happen by cooking and dishing it up IRL rather than on a fashion page actually wear - and if you do it all super dressed up, respect - and how do you manage it?

Trackies for the morning cook fest. Then change into nice top, jeans and Uggs or a dress and Uggs when guests arrive in the mid afternoon.

This year I have a elf outfit for Xmas day and hubby who does the cooking has a santa suit.
Normally on Xmas day I wear a Xmas jumper and jeans so does dh.
The kids will no doubt be wearing there Xmas jammies or Xmas jumpers.
We stay home so don't really matter what we wear

work clothes - usually working the late slot. either jeans or leggings and a tunic or t shirt. This year my bargain charity shop Xmas jumper will get an airing!
