I'm glad this one is brown as the charcoal pencil didn't do a anything for me and I only wear black on nights out, which are few and far between at the mo! I wear brown mascara most days too.

I've loved having the calendar and look forward to opening up a daily new treat. It was really good value IMO and as a PP said, not a disaster if you don't like something. Scared by the liquid eyeliner today - but the Stila on prompted me to try to use it to enhance my eyes a bit (pale skin and eyebrows/lashes look non existent). It's been transformation so will def give it a go! I love the l'occitane crème as a night cream and the alpha rose gold is also amazing. Less enthused by the Prai night cream. I have no sense of small (not covid) so have no idea but my skin seems to love it! Looking forward to the last few days!!

I agree that I'd rather have a larger mid range brand than a tiny few drops of some kind of £200 serum. Watching advent unboxings on youtube has turned into a bit of a guilty pleasure and I have to say some of the high end ones do seem to include samples, as in the ones you would get free at a counter. That would infuriate me lol.

I'm pleased with today's. Was applying black liquid liner to top lash line this morning and thinking the contrast was a bit harsh and I should dig out the old brown one I had somewhere when lo and behold I opened today's box and voilà!

I prefer brown, is this a pen one?

It's quite nice on - very easy to apply, even for clumsy me, and has a nice sheen.

I’m so rubbish at eye liner but I’ll give this a go. I’m not sure if brown will suit me but we’ll see!

I'm delighted that M&S have finally realised that black eyeliner and mascara are not flattering on many people. The brown is perfect,

I have two advents on the go and between them I seem to have an awful lot of different things from this brand this year.

I think this brand turns up a lot in calendars @Talisin. This is ok, I’ll pop in my stash for taking on holidays (if I ever go away again) as it will last long enough and as I’ve used it before I know it won’t bring me out in spots.

I think just from M&S we have an awful lot from this brand... At least it's a day cream and not another hand cream. That's as positive as it gets.

Happy to try this but agree that this brand pops up a huge amount in this sort of thing. I do think it devalues the brand somewhat.

I was almost excited about this when I opened it but having read the website info for the cream it is no good for me as it's for dry skin and mine is the opposite. Though DH has suddenly come out with some dry irritated patches on his skin so hopefully this will help him.

I'm underwhelmed by this today and agree that I does devalue the brand a little. Wish they'd give us a sample of the rose Otto bath oil or something interesting. This also feels a 'filler'. Still - it'll get used and doesn't put me off the calendar.

Ah if it’s for dry skin then no use for my face either. I shall use it on elbows and knees instead.

Completely agree. I seem to have had quite a lot of REN this year and it's all been fine but I've never even thought about repurchasing. This will get used but it does feel like a filler at this stage.

I will use it for going away etc. anyone know what the smell is like? Hope its not like the other products, not keen on the fragrance of the others.

I know what's in 24th and 25th as we go away tomorrow and I can't wait until the 28th when we get back
I was very pleased with both......not hand cream, shower gel or day cream you' be pleased to know!

Today's is a bit boring and I think M&S must have done some kind of deal with Ren as we are getting rather a lot of their products. Do ok is about anyone else but my (sealed) tube feels less than half full.
