Is available on Thursday in store and online apparently.

@Decaffe

Wow, this mascara is certainly lengthening and it’s nice to have a change from black! Just a shame that mine seems almost dried up! Anyone else?
I did have to properly scoop the wand around in the tube to get enough on the brush. I agree its lengthening but overall, I think I prefer the black. My lashes are very dark anyway so I don't think this is really having an impact. It'll be interesting to see if it's any easier to get off than the black though and if so I'll use it for everyday.

@Nuffaluff

I have just looked up what tubing mascara is. I thought it meant it came in a tube. Every day’s a school day. It’s nice mascara and fine on me, but doesn’t look much different from my normal eyelashes. I imagine it’s great for people with fair lashes.
I also had to look this up! I've never used brown mascara before and I have quite dark eyelashes anyway but will give it a go. Absolute favourites so far are the day one cleanser and the pure moisturiser. DH seems to have stolen the night cream!

@NumaNumaYay

Going back to the L'occitane day cream, it smells nice and flowery in the pot but when I've started to rub it on recently it starts smelling almost of pipe tobacco or something! Not entirely pleasant... anyone else get this?
I think mine smells a bit cucumber like.
Lipsandlashes · 17/12/2021 14:58

How do you remove tubing mascara? Do you need a particular make up remover? I normally just use micellar water and cleanse afterwards.

AnnieSnap · 17/12/2021 15:16

@Lipsandlashes this is from a review on Tubing Mascaras in the Independent
“ In fact, the removal is the best bit. Unlike, stubborn regular formulas you don’t need any form of make-up remover, just a little warm water will do and cotton or a flannel if you choose. You’ll see the formula literally slide off in tubes or little clumps”

friedeggandsauce · 17/12/2021 23:30

Everything I read says removal is easy but I find it a right pain with loads of tubes all over my face!

supadupapupascupa · 17/12/2021 23:38

I have never heard of tubing mascara! How do I know which type I have??

AmethystMoonShine · 18/12/2021 06:23

I used the mascara yesterday and love it and it was easy to remove. I used a bamboo/cotton pad (washable) with Nivea eye makeup remover.
Love todays, I already like this and it a decent size travel version. Happy! Xmas Smile

RampantIvy · 18/12/2021 06:46

Not excited about today's a either, but it will get used.

Talisin · 18/12/2021 06:48

Is it me or have this years calendars been rather heavy on this sort of product?

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 18/12/2021 07:13

It has, rather. I've heard this is a nice one though.

RampantIvy · 18/12/2021 07:15

I think there has been one shower gel and one shower oil, so I don't think so. I have really liked this calendar so far. Some products I would never buy for myself, but will use because they are there, and some I would probably buy again.

10littlepirates · 18/12/2021 07:16

I really like today - will actually use this one straight away. The other two shower gels have been popped in the drawer for the travel bag.

Countmeout · 18/12/2021 07:33

I’m just finishing this off in the shower , I love it so glad to have another.

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 18/12/2021 08:16

I'm always confused by shower oil! Do you wash with it or apply it after using soap or shower gel?

RampantIvy · 18/12/2021 08:25

I would still use soap to wash the necessaries first then use this. I am just about to try it although, being a fan of proper bars of soap, I'm not keen on shower gels/oils.

Lowlifeinhighplaces · 18/12/2021 08:33

Todays shower oil will get used, I like oils and use Nuxe products a lot so nice to see what this one will be like.

RampantIvy · 18/12/2021 08:48

Just had a shower. I do not like this at all. I nearly slipped over in the shower and the smell is meh.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 18/12/2021 09:01

I love Nuxe oils but like @RampantIvy I wasn't impressed with this. Felt sticky going on and I don't like the smell.

Orcadianrythyms · 18/12/2021 09:18

I'll put it in the bath, I can't be faffed with putting it on dry and then showering off. I like 'cleaning' showers and 'relaxing' baths. I love their shea hand creams so hope I'll like this.
Worryingly I can't smell this very strongly Confused - if I get Covid now.........

Anjelika · 18/12/2021 09:32

Not another shower gel! That's 3 so far.

SomethingAboutNothing · 18/12/2021 09:33

You use it like a shower gel so no need to put it on dry. I adore the almond shower oil, this one is nice enough.

I do agree with others that there have been too many shower gel type products this year, this one is probably my favourite of them though.

LizzieSiddal · 18/12/2021 09:41

Confused I’ve got L’occitane shower oil not Nuxe!

SomethingAboutNothing · 18/12/2021 09:44

Mine is L'occitane too Confused

latedecember1963 · 18/12/2021 09:44

Hope you're ok, RampantIvy. I've always been too scared to use this in the shower because of fear of slipping. I use it in the wash basin when I have a stand up wash or just need a quick freshen up. I also use it when hand washing my bras.
Today's value is £5.85 bringing our running total to £181.18.
