It arrived today but only just opened packaging to make sure it was ok -

I have never felt so excited by a TIN before - the tin is gorgeous - such a good idea - it will definitely be kept to house things in after Christmas

@Snoopsnoggysnog I had the No 7 one last year and it was OK. Got good travel sizes of serum, eye cream, day cream & night cream which I've used when away. Wasn't over keen on the nail varnishes but it will be the same with any calendar I guess - there'll always be a few products you don't want.

Already dreading another black eyeliner to get rid of!!

I've never bought a beauty advent calendar before but was reading the other thread, got all excited and have now ordered the M&S one. A few people said they wouldn't use the brown mascara but I only wear brown so... decision made

@sluj it lists everything that is in it on the M&S listing. Also lots of us don’t want to buy a calendar without knowing it contains stuff we’ll actually use. You’ll still have an element of surprise when you open each day, not knowing which item each day will bring 🙂

I know we are all different but I have deliberately not gone looking to see what was in it as I like the traditional surprise element. I'm hoping someone will start the usual day by day opening thread and I will nip onto that. Just thought this thread needed a warning ⚠️

I've got mine on order. I'm naughty though, I can't do it day by day, I open them all in one go for a big pamper session. Hoping to have a work Xmas do finally so would be nice to look good for that using all the products to help beforehand.

Loved the summer beauty bag, really like the aveda treatment so looking forward to having that again.

Actually, changed my mind about the Aveda! After writing my negative post (NC since then) I have had another go at my old Aveda tube. I have fine, drying, grey hair, very slightly frizzy near the ends. If I add Aveda by itself after washing, I get a nice smooth, textured finish, non-greasy. Better than oil. I think the problem before is that I was applying both, hence a lanky mess! I think Aveda on its own is good.

So (NC from earlier) I went and bought the beauty box after all!
