My first quarterly box arrived today. It's £20 a month which is then "banked" so you can spend that on Liberty beauty making the box free. Free P&P on your purchases too.

Yay! Good for you.

EasterIssland · 12/10/2022 21:46

Yay!!!

HuzzahIndeed · 13/10/2022 07:50

Where are people getting this info? I'm 99% certain I ticked the yes to marketing emails button. I can't find it now to check though.

Brogues · 13/10/2022 07:53

@HuzzahIndeed i found I was only getting half of the emails from liberty and they checked my preferences on the online chat function and I think the beauty drop emails are a separate system to opt in to because since then I have been getting them.

redredwineub40 · 13/10/2022 08:29

Enjoy @CactiQueen I'm after it when I've used up my current stock! I never see offers on it.

AgnesNaismith · 13/10/2022 10:22

Candles are in - what on earth does cashmere smell like??

Zeeza · 13/10/2022 10:26

Lavender in our house 🤣🤣 on account of the 🦋

EasterIssland · 13/10/2022 10:35

How lucky you all are that you can buy the candles before others !!! Don’t buy them all!

LoveLabradors · 13/10/2022 10:39

Well I’ve bought in bulk due to this fabulous opportunity 🤣🤣. Has anyone actually
tried their candles? I still waver on the advent calendar as would like to try the hera. But then I remind myself I’ve been hoarding nice candles for when building work finishes on my house and I don’t need any more!

AprilLady · 13/10/2022 11:04

I’m imagining the marketing meeting at which this was decided: Someone says: Let’s do a Beauty Drop Week. Great idea, says the boss, what shall we offer? Brainstorm follows - six ideas are agreed. But a week is seven days, notes the boss. Frantic head scratching ensues. Eventually someone says: early access to candles? That’ll have to do, says the boss.

Luvacuppatea2 · 13/10/2022 11:15

@AprilLady 🤣🤣🤣. Early access to candles really is ‘the offer to beat all other offers’ 🤣

redredwineub40 · 13/10/2022 11:46

I know I just feel so valued with the c sale access!

doublecleansed · 13/10/2022 12:31

I decided against the advent in the end, so have quite a bit of beauty drop credit stored up. Will be intrigued to what the GWP is like - that might sway me to finally spend it. Otherwise, I'm hoping they've got some nice Christmas sets/crackers this year too to spend some of it on.

PomRuns · 13/10/2022 14:59

😂 even worse than some of the sparks offers .
despite quadruple points- I might abstain. Interested in the GWP

Zeeza · 13/10/2022 15:21

Do you still get points if you pay with beauty drop credit?

I'd assumed not

EasterIssland · 13/10/2022 15:22

Yes. It’s money you’ve paid for at the end of the day and not a discount as such

Zeeza · 13/10/2022 17:22

Oh brilliant. That's amazing.

Someaddedsugar · 13/10/2022 17:55

Is it this week or next week when the next box is due? It feels like ages ago that I received the email to say make sure details are up to date!

supadupapupascupa · 13/10/2022 19:16

I'm expecting this week. It's usually mid month

EasterIssland · 14/10/2022 08:41

Lucky you all’ today you can design the next box from 2023!!

BakeOffRewatch · 14/10/2022 11:44

I went to Liberty a couple of weekends ago and saw the advent calendar in person. It didn’t impress me in person, think it was the reality of the sizes versus the price. However I did love a lot of the homeware in the store… so see the beauty credit scheme as something that has drawn me into the brand overall, as I never would have gone there for decor before (Oliver Bonas girl through and through!). The annoying thing is they up price so then even with their £10 vouchers and whatnot, they’re on par with Fenwick’s etc. Take this serving platter:

£65 at Liberty www.libertylondon.com/uk/peapod-serving-platter-000534499.html

£57 at Harrods and Fenwicks www.harrods.com/en-gb/shopping/peapod-platter-465cm-17067857 www.fenwick.co.uk/home-and-tech/dining/serveware/serving-plates-bowls-and-serveware/serving-plates-and-bowls/peapod-platter/2770011479123.html

Better off at Liberty with the free delivery and the £10 voucher but still - only when there’s a voucher. Same with the kids toys too, KIDLY is cheaper.

What I’ll say, is that the Liberty curation/buyer is spot on, I can pop in and just get a gift that’s lovely whereas with KIDLY and others I’d be scrolling through a lot of dross first.

PatPatPat · 15/10/2022 08:10

I've just read the T&C's and today's extra reward points don't apply to the advent calendar. Just thought I'd warn anyone intending to buy today...

PatPatPat · 15/10/2022 08:11

Sorry, that comment refers to the Liberty Calendar and the beauty drop offer.

CactiQueen · 15/10/2022 08:19

Does anyone know if the quadruple points gets added to your current points or is it a separate thing? It says the voucher is issued in Jan so I'm thinking separate?

PomRuns · 15/10/2022 08:22

@PatPatPat oh that’s really annoying and a bit tight.
