I have bought almost every size and colour of the lovely Richmond ones, they’ve gone to be replaced by these it ain’t half hot mum type ones

Cargo shorts, so handy for the delivery round and the empty bottle and shewee.

Agree I'm not sure very short shorts are becoming unless you're 23 and Californian, but if your legs are OK you're not aiming for The Dig as per PP, either.

Actually no idea what the answer is. I'm mid 40s with decent figure and legs but probably feel at my least attractive in shorts.

Boden getting rid of the trusty Richmond shorts is exactly why it's OK to stock up on ten pairs of something you love 😂. I can't believe they have replaced an urban classic with Indiana Jones' cast offs!

Vraiment. Bermudas only look nice on handsome rich French boys, suntanned from family hols on the Cote d'Azur.

The Richmond ones look like they have no room in the leg at all, even on the models, so they'd fit on the waist and give you nasty sausage legs when you sit down.

Jcrew shorts are very similar to those Richmond style and come in different lengths

Panic not OP! They are doing a chino short again, with the option of a short short length. However all the photos on models are of the longer lengths. Im not sure why they arent showing photos of woman in the short shorts. (The 4" leg option)

Also think the wider leg ones are for those who will happily wear hot pants on holiday, but want something with a bit more thigh coverage for wandering around Tescos getting the BBQ stuff. I guess they've taken the decision that everyone is holidaying in Devon this year so it's going to be chino trousers and a raincoat you'll be adding to your holiday suitcase, with some decent coverage shorts for the odd occasion the sun makes it out.

I quite like those second ones. Looks roomy and swishy. The first is ruined by the pockets, but it does look like it holds a ton of shit tho
