Sadly QueenoftheAndals has decided to bow out and not create any more Royal Style and Beauty threads
I'm really hoping she'll reconsider.

I had looked already actually, in case I missed it!

I had a nose yesterday but the thread was full and Queen has already closed her account as I tried to pm her to say thank you and wish her well. So, Queen, if you see this, I thank you for the threads and hope to see you back here one day

frugalkitty I was going to private message her too but she did say she was closing her Mumsnet account.

Also a long lurker who would like to thank QueenoftheAndals for these wonderful threads and hope you feel you can come back soon. I dread to think how many happy hours I've spent on these threads alone. Hope they keep going; I've learnt so much.

Oh no. Did I miss something. I've been trying to fill my days a bit more productively but this is my favourite thread.

I'll start the frocks with this pic that's just popped up on my Pinterest feed. It's a close up of Gabriella Windsor's wedding dress and is just lovely, I hadn't seen such a good close up of it before.

We are coming to the end of our thread again. However, I won't be starting a new one. I am spending far too much time on Mumsnet these days and have decided to seriously cut down on my use of social media. Twitter was the first to go, then Reddit and now I'm going to ask MN to delete my account on here too.

I've really enjoyed chatting royal fashion for the past couple of years with all of you but I've realised I've got quite the social media addiction and really need to rein it in.

For a Luddite like me that was some achievement.

I checked earlier to see if anyone had started a thread so glad there is one now, I was a lurker but didn't realise how much I would miss it!
I saw reports the Cambridge's were going to sue Taylor for the awful article but not sure how true it was and can't seem to find anything now.

It was a lovely dress by a Sicilian atelier with a 20ft tulle veil. Gabriela looked wonderful, but she is 5'11" and slim, so any dress would have looked good.

The designer also made three other dresses for the wedding - reception, post reception and next day brunch.

I'm an occasional poster on theses threads and will be very sorry to see Queen go too. Hope that we can keep this thread going as it's a welcome relief from everything else that's going on.
