I know we have a few handbag lovers on this board so I just thought I'd share...some good deals. Currently having a dilemma with myself over a purchase!!

Beautiful.

I absolutely love the colour & it hangs well off the shoulder & cross body. The leather is still a little bit stiff, so the lock & strap are a bit tricky, but it’ll wear in. Cards & notes fit in the little purse, but I think keys may need to go in it incase they scuff the lining. Which is a shame as I’ve just bought a keyring.

Offredismysister. It’s beautiful. My oak one arrived too, you are right the lock and strap are stiff but will wear in. I am a little curvy so it does not sit well cross body on me but I have other crossbody bags so don’t mind. Did you buy a Mulberry key ring?

No, just a cheap fluffy one.
I’m saving for a winter bag now. I like the Millie, but some pictures look like it doesn’t hold shape well. I’ve seen an YSL bag that might be a contender but I’m not sure if it will date quickly & its ££££.

Offredismysister I don’t have a Millie bag but they look lovely. I treated myself to a Mulberry key ring in the sale. I always look at them but they are expensive but As I have missed out on two holidays over Lockdowm I ordered it. Well
Okay disclaimer I ordered two intending to send one back as I could not decide but I like them both! Do I need two key rings?

I'm a disappointed as I was expecting mine to come today on my day off but it's arriving tomorrow when I won't be here; the rest of the family will be so at least someone will be here to sign for it.

Ah it's you who got the Dune Antony Judge - I got confused with the pic of the Abbey. I do ♥️ an Antony, great bag.

@mandonaplane I feel like I need to advise you! 😂 Do you want an every day work bag? Going out bag? That wouldn't be my choice for a first Mulberry because the colour wouldn't go with everything. But you have to love it, obvs. My first Mulberry was black as I knew it would go with everything.

@madonnaonaplane Chocolatesaltyballs22 is right! My first Mulberry was a heritage Bayswater in Oak. Classically beautiful and I still love it. Best to go for a classic design in black, tan or oxblood. However, if that bag steals your heart go for it! It is all about the love
You should love your Mulberry, it should make you sing.
Style wise the small Bayswater is a great choice, a work bag or an evening bag works both ways. It is a very structured bag so for me not one I would use as a pick up and grab for a trip to the supermarkets. However the small Bayswater is my work bag of choice. I would say for a first purchase it is better to go hands on and try a few for size. Shops should be open soon so go for it.

Think about what you want from it - do you want a bag that you’ll only use here and there, that you keep for best and it’ll make you happy to look at it sitting pristine on your shelf or in your cupboard? Or do you want one that you really get your money’s worth from in terms of cost per wear/daily enjoyment? If you want one that you can use daily or at least wear a lot then think carefully about what your lifestyle actually is and what type of bag you use in your daily life, and get one of those.

Thank you for your replies. You’re right that black is a more practical colour, although I do love the blue. Maybe I should get that one in black as the size is perfect. It wouldn’t be a work bag more a general every day bag, I’m too disorganised to change bags on a daily basis, everything is chucked into the current bag and I know where it is.
Will try and wait until shops are open so I can look properly. Really appreciate your advice.

No probs...Mulberry do free returns if you do want to order online in the sale, but for me you can't beat that experience of buying in store and trying all the bags etc.

I have used Handbag Angels, arrived really quickly, great liner and a good price.
