Anyone up for a daily thread??? This is my first beauty advent calendar & I’m super excited. DH is refusing to believe it’s an actual advent calendar since there’s no chocolate inside there’s no pleasing some people

Am very happy with today’s too, am on the lookout for good hair products. Trying mine tonight will report back!

I’m happy with day 2 too! I really love this brand - they do an amazing shampoo and conditioner but I rarely but it as it’s £££!

I too am happy with the hair styling treatment. Not the sort of thing I would buy but I shall definitely use it.

I’ll give the hair stuff a go on Thursday (day off so no one will see if it all goes Horribly Wrong) but stuff like this tends to weigh down my very fine hair.

I did use a couple of colours from the eye palette yesterday, a bit too much at first (my fault, totally heavy handed) but wore down to really pretty by the evening.

So I’ve already tried today’s item and while it smells quite nice, I don’t think it’s something I’d buy as it doesn’t really fit into my routine - also feels like there's a little tacky residue.

I really like the little cards that we get with every item. I remember when I had the LF calendar a couple of years ago they put up the item explanation online everyday and often it was late - this is much better and feels oddly luxurious.

I agree the little Liberty style cards are a nice touch. They’ve not been well proof read though - yesterday’s had a typo and today’s seems to missing an “and”.

Today’s Caudalie toner isn’t really for my skin type but I’ll give it a try anyway as I like the brand.

I've been following for a couple of days but thought I'd join in now I've given the hair treatment a go.

I tried it last night when blow drying my hair ( fine, shoulder length bob with natural waves). I thought it was ok, but not brilliant, good body and some shine, but quite a few fly aways. However, after sleeping on it, my hair seems to have held it's style much better than normal, so I'll definitely give it another go.

Sadly the hair product made no discernible difference to blowdrying my fine, long, straight hair. But I do really like today’s toner, I’m a fan of Caudalie, the scent is calming and I could feel it working on my skin.

Useful if a bit boring. Will be added to my growing stash (that I really need to go through and discard some of).

I'm pleased with the brushes as I needed them and I think they are decent ones.
The hair cream is ok but didn't do much for my hair. I like the Caudalie toner, it smells lovely and is refreshing but I won't use it every day as it may be drying.
So far so good.

Disappointed today as I don't wear eyeshadow. Into the swap box they go.

I don’t use a toner (just a Clinique cleanser/make up remover & moisturiser) so I might give this a go. I have normal skin.

Pleased with the brushes since I have lost all of mine! Getting lashes done tomorrow so will see if I can have a play around with the eye palette today

Meh. I was really excited when I saw how big today’s box was, then the brushes came as a disappointment as I already have so many. Still, then do look nice quality and I like the fact they cubs a couple of days after the palette.

I really like the brushes and the hair treatment. I also found that my style held better the following day.

Not a big fan of the Caudalie toner scent but I should use toner more than I do so I will try it.

I'm so glad to get the brushes as I did need them, but so far I'm finding this calendar filled with items that are useful and usable rather than really exciting and interesting.

Didn’t get a chance to play around with the eye palette or brushes today & too knackered now. I’d really like a hand cream or face mask next

Late to the party, but I’ve loved everything so far & will use it all. The toner is great & the hair product has worked wonders on my hair. Someone at worked asked if I’d had it done!

Today’s is the best so far & one of the reasons I bought the calendar.

I'm delighted with today's. I use this every day and now I don't have to pack a huge pot when I go away.
For my skin it's amazing.

I am a newbie to Elemis so was very excited to try todays. Not too keen on the scent, I have to say, however it has gone on like a dream and I will continue to use it in the expectation that I will wake up looking like a young Liz Taylor on Christmas Morning! :)

I gave my teen dd the brushes, I have loads of eyeshadow brushes.

What was today’s offering? Can’t open mine till tonight, but I don’t want to wait to find out.
