Which wedding dress?

Torn between 2! Which would you go for? The strapless with lace appliqués in or the all over lace dress with straps?

I am slightly leaning towards the strapless however I’ve slight reservations because the sample’s ill fitting around the boobs and I’m hoping it will look better when it’s made to fit me, but I can’t be sure it will look right. The dress with straps I do love but I’m just not sure it has the ‘wow’ factor.

Would love an impartial opinion

The one me with straps (first one) You look really elegant.
Don't like 2nd one at all. The strapless bodice is huge and really bulky & plain. The front of skirt looks as if it should be at the back. Like a fish tail put on the wrong way round. Strange cut.

Fabric for n second one looks cheap compared to first one too.

Prefer the 3rd. Look at the essence of Australia range they are amazing their fit and flare and fishtail ranges are beautiful.

Out of those 2, definitely the strapless one.

I looked at the first one and thought "that's nice" but when I saw the second one I thought "wow"

Very close call, but I think 1 was the better fit. Both gorgeous, you have a great figure

I still reckon you really want the strapless and are looking for confirmation for what you've pretty much decided. And that's great!

Add sleeves by all means, but I really wouldn't add lace round the neckline. You'll ruin the simple elegance of it, and at a C cup you really don't need to worry about ending up with too much on display.

Second one if fitted round the boobies a bit more. Stunner!

I’ve arranged to go try it on again

Gonna try the Stella York one on aswell I think. Maybe I was bit quick to discount it because the bridesmaids weren’t as keen.

Hopefully I will have a clearer idea tomorrow because the wedding’s in June. I really need to get my skates on and get a dress ordered!

The one with straps but that’s just because I hate strapless dresses sorry. They always look ill fitted and the brides spend most of the day pulling them up under their arms!! Drives me nuts! Again sorry...just my opinion 😬😂🙈

@FenellaMaxwell I absolutely love grace loves lace dresses! They’re a little bit boho which I love and they’re really young and fun.

However they’re very ‘trendy’ if you know what I mean, and I think the style of most of the dresses might date a bit. I by no means want to look old fashioned, but I want something a little more timeless and bridal.

Definitely with straps, bottom lace on strapless looks a bit odd.

One with straps looks elegant, the bottom of strapless doesn't look right.

Strapless is over. It never looks elegant. Just a load of hoiking and back flab.

I don't like strapless but I think that second dress is beautiful on you. Looks really classy.

I like the first one you look stunning. I don't like the sweetheart neckline ok the second one x

@Hey1256 that’s my main reservation about the second one. The sweetheart neckline. I think it’s a bit more dramatic than I’d have liked. Granted it will probably look better when it fits me. But I always imagined myself in something a little softer round the neckline, maybe with more lace.
