Beauty Advent Calendars 2019

It’s almost that time again! Anyone have their eye on anything?

I’m waiting on the M&S one as I loved it so much last year (no sign of it so far but I suspect it will be similar to 2018 for release date, so around start of November). I also like the look of the Look Fantastic and Nuxe but three may be pushing it.

If money was no object I’d be on the Jo Malone and Lush calendars.

DH took me shopping to have a look at M&S's one. I was disappointed when I went in to the shop and they were all gone. Then dh saw them. I've bought it. Very surprised at how many full sized items are in it and loved dh face when it clocked up £300 at the till .

@Violetroselily the Debenhams one briefly went out of stock but it's showing as in stock on their website.

Sunshine I take it you spent £25 on other items for your dh to pay £40

I'm still dithering. I wanted the Clarins one but it's only 12 days .

I have the M&S one and am waiting for the Amazon one to go down to £30

woodhill all the spend was on dh and I paid the whole lot. I am a SAHM so it's all earned by him and jointly spent. I had been given money so I'll say it's from that. I also save money monthly which pays for Christmas so will earmark some of that for next year for another calendar .

2 Questions......

1. Does anyone have any experience of the Mankind men's calendar?
2. Roughly how much was the John Lewis one reduced before

M&s one is sold out online I think.

Just went on LookFantastic website to order it and its SOLD OUT!! Any idea if any more will come in?

May end up having to get the M&S one too as have my heart set on 2 this year......

I like the looks and contents of l'occitane and body shop calendars but I don't use hand or body creams, of which they seem to be full off.

Dh bought me the Clarins one today.

So excited as we got free gifts with it as well.

M&S is sold out online now. Only available in store.

I think the M&S looks better than the Debenhams, but sounds like you'll have to go to the store now if they're sold out online.

Mine should be arriving Tuesday. :)

Thanks both, there are still some in M&S locally (although not as many as last year!). Before I take the plunge, is there anything else at this sort of price point that people would recommend?

Out of the other two you are thinking, I would deffo go for the M&S one though.

The John Lewis one went down to £80 just before Christmas, but it sold out very quickly.

MrsMoggs I M O nothing else at that price point is better than the M&S one. I'd get down to your local store for one.

For comparison, on the Latest in Beauty site this morning they still have their own calendar in stock and the Grazia one, but they are 65 and 85 respectively.

Just had an 'ad' to say that the JL calendar is reduced by 20% at the moment.

I snapped up the m& s one today in store.
I've been dithering this year which one to get and just decided to play if safe and get m&s this year.

So tempted to get a higher end one too still.
