Beauty Advent Calendars 2019

It’s almost that time again! Anyone have their eye on anything?

There is a good overview here: www.marieclaire.co.uk/beauty/beauty-advent-calendars-2019-39069

I’m waiting on the M&S one as I loved it so much last year (no sign of it so far but I suspect it will be similar to 2018 for release date, so around start of November). I also like the look of the Look Fantastic and Nuxe but three may be pushing it. Grin

If money was no object I’d be on the Jo Malone and Lush calendars.

I’m getting a shirt for my brother for Xmas to qualify for the M&S calendar. So excited about the calendar!

For fans of Korean beauty I think the calendar is back in stock tomorrow morning on YesStyle. 10% off for first orders on the site.

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 22/10/2019 21:04

Haven't heard of Nuxe - is it any good?

FadingStar · 22/10/2019 21:06

Yes, Nuxe is a really good brand. I have used a lot the range - the moisturisers are quite thick so a little goes a long way. Nuxe also does the amazing oil...can't spell it but it's brilliant.

Imthevoice · 22/10/2019 21:11

I buy four every year and the one that got the most rave reviews last year was the Amazon one. Although my son loved Clarins Men.

CottonHeadedNinyMuggins · 22/10/2019 21:17

Thank you lovely, it's tempting... haha! :)

Keepsmiling1 · 22/10/2019 22:30

What departments do you have to buy from to qualify for the calendar? Just going to have a look if there's anything I need!

Writersblock2 · 22/10/2019 23:08

Are there offers on the Nuxe one? I think their products are amazing.

Clothing, home and beauty Smile

And I don't think so unfortunately, unless there's any generic M&S codes knocking about

Liz79 · 23/10/2019 08:15

I've managed to order boots No7 for myself and my mum 😀

Inappropriatefemale · 23/10/2019 08:17

Ooh I love Look Fantastic so I may just have to buy myself one!

Arsenicinthesugarbowl · 23/10/2019 08:41

I’ve ordered no 7 too for this year. Had look fantastic last two years and M&S before that. They’ve all been great!

QueenOfTheCauldron · 23/10/2019 09:27

I've just bought the Boots No 7 one....my first ever beauty advent calendar. I use all their products anyway so I am being sensible!!

I8toys · 23/10/2019 10:45

Going to get the Debenhams one today

youngestisapsycho · 23/10/2019 10:51

The ASOS one has some nice stuff in it... it's £70.

kenandbarbie · 23/10/2019 11:20

Is anyone in Ireland? I can't find the m and s one on the website here? Is it out in the Uk already?

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 23/10/2019 11:34

I'm in Ireland @kenandbarbie
It won't be available until October 31st.
I'm pretty sure that last year it wasn't available online, only in store. I'm not sure about this year.

I just bought the Debenhams one online for €45. It's €45 if you buy any other beauty product, otherwise it's €90 or €100.

I'm a sucker for them 🙈Halloween Blush

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 23/10/2019 12:37

I need advice. I've had the M&S one for the last two Christmases and loved it but always felt a bit guilty about spending that sort of money on a treat for me. However, this year I could get the No7 one with my Boots Advantage Card points - which means I'd feel better about the financial side of things but I'm not sure it's as good. Is the No7 one worth it? Or is M&S better? I don't know what to do!

Butterymuffin · 23/10/2019 12:46

I believe the No 7 one is very good. However it's also hard to get and sells out quickly, and personally I like the range of different brands you get from the M&S one. But the bit I really want to challenge in your post is feeling guilty about that money on 'a treat for me'. Why don't you deserve it? Would you be spending that much on your kids or other family members?

I8toys · 23/10/2019 13:09

I personally prefer M&S because the majority of brands are luxury products that I can trial and if I like can get the full size version,

scaryclare666 · 23/10/2019 15:22

I have just been on to net a porter and ordered the calendar, it says it’s being processed so they must have more stock in (hopefully)

scaryclare666 · 23/10/2019 15:26

that post was meant for poster traveladdictsarah and anyone else who wants it.

snowplop · 23/10/2019 15:34

Having checked out the M&S contents, thanks AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet for the link, I've decided to wait for that one. It looks fantastic this year. DD is having the Boots HP one.

Inappropriatefemale · 23/10/2019 16:16

I just googled Beauty Advent Calendars 2019 and I’m spoilt for choice! I have always been a lover of beauty products and toiletries and used to spend all of my pocket money in Boots!

There is a Liberty one for £215! I feel excited at the thought of getting one!

I must get out more!
