The dress of the summer, apparently. It’s a no from me, I’m afraid.Confused

No, it's awful.

TapasForTwo · 14/07/2019 08:28

Maybe it's a festival dress that can be turned into a tent at night Grin

I have never seen anyone wearing one.

PurpleWithRed · 14/07/2019 08:28

I saw someone wearing this the other day, it looked much nicer in real life than it does on the model but the neckline is too high for my tastes

PuppyMonkey · 14/07/2019 08:30

Does look like a maternity nightdress or something.Confused

It’s awful and I’ve never seen it in real life.

But then I don’t work for a fashion magazine or spend any time on I nstagram looking at fashion influencers who’ve been given the same dress/bag/shoes for free.

If the model looks like a sack of crap you can be sure a normal person will.

JoyceJeffries · 14/07/2019 08:44

I saw someone wearing it the other day and it looks really lovely.

FenellaMaxwell · 14/07/2019 08:47

It’s lovely on normal people. It looks crap on the model though.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 14/07/2019 08:48

I've seen a few of these about and they do look nice. I think its success might actually be because it looks better on a normal-sized woman than on the model.

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 14/07/2019 08:50

Bob the duvet I see so many young women now who've waxed off their eyebrows then drawn them back on in a completely different place. It's so odd.

user1494050295 · 14/07/2019 08:57

My colleague wears this dress. It suits her however I personally think it's a bit too casual if we have external meetings with clients but fine for the environment we work in

Miseryisabutterfly · 14/07/2019 08:57

I have it and I love it 😂

Miseryisabutterfly · 14/07/2019 08:59

slipperywhensparticus · 14/07/2019 09:04

What if your fat forty with big boobs?

YesyouyouCnut · 14/07/2019 09:06

@Miseryisabutterfly, it looks lovely on you

Model looks awful. I don’t like bottom so it’s a no from me

SchnitzelVonKrumm · 14/07/2019 09:06

I've seen women over 40 and not especially slim wear it and look great.

YesyouyouCnut · 14/07/2019 09:08

Actually I’ve just looked again, is the bottom of the dress an added frilly bit or is it just creased in your pic @Miseryisabutterfly

FenellaMaxwell · 14/07/2019 09:08

@slipperywhensparticus I’m fat, 36 and have gg boobs and it looks nice on me.

There’s an Instagram account dedicated to photos of people wearing it - have a look and you can see it on loads of different body shapes. It’s @hot4thespot.

Zinnia · 14/07/2019 09:09

I see it pretty much every day, often more than once in fact. But then I work in central London so see a lot of people on my commute.

I liked it enough to try it on a couple of months ago, but neither the colour nor pattern did anything for me (I really can't wear white). Have to say I'm relieved I didn't buy it, given how ubiquitous it's ended up being. It looks lovely on you though @Miseryisabutterfly. In fact as PP says it looks lovely on lots of people, just not me! Grin

Miseryisabutterfly · 14/07/2019 09:10

Thank you, that’s kind! It’s an added frilly bit. I like it actually it weighs the dress down a bit in the wind.

I think the models looks fab in it. There’s another model on the site wearing it who looks awful.

tomtom1999xx · 14/07/2019 09:11

It looks like a nighty.

CondeNasty · 14/07/2019 09:12

I am an hourglass with big boobs and hips and anything not fitted to show my waist looks like a frumpy sack on me. I think I would look hideous in this!

Miseryisabutterfly · 14/07/2019 09:14

I don’t think this is a flattering view at all! It’s too big on her for a start.

Hot4thespot- Instagram page showing multiple women wearing this (some all in the same shot) putting aside the immorality of photographing women without their consent in some cases (whole other thread) it does show that it looks good on a range of different sized women.
