It looked truly, really great on the people I've seen it on in real life but they both were very slim and had that Sienna's Miller, cool boho vibe (and matching hair). I think you also need to be fairly tall and have a tan for it to work tbh. A friend has it and was telling me it was her most worn summer dress, this was before it went viral. She gave the rationale that it hid any bloating so was great for going for food, was comfy and airy, made her feel cool, and went with any colour shoes/bag so could be dressed up or down.
I briefly wanted it after seeing it on other people and them looking so on trend and summery but I don't think I'm cool enough to pull it off and definitely wouldn't want it now it's become so comically ubiquitous anyway.
