The dress of the summer, apparently. It’s a no from me, I’m afraid.Confused

I think it's really nice

Morgan12 · 14/07/2019 16:48

Its horrendous. Zara is awful.

Wonderstuff7 · 14/07/2019 16:52

It looks like a hospital gown Grin

PuppyMonkey · 14/07/2019 16:53

@costacoffeecup I haven’t seen it in RL and I doubt anybody in my village is trendy enough to have it. Thank God.Grin

I bought this in April...didn't realise it would be so popular. I love it and get loads of compliments wearing it. I wear it back to front as I prefer an opening at the neck. Inadvertently my friend also bought it...luckily we've not worn it at the same time.
I have only ever seen it worn on one other person in a posh hotel.
I wear mine with stan Smith trainers.
I see loads of people wearing hideous outfits, but each to their own.

Alsohuman · 14/07/2019 17:26

I love mine. Fortunately I’ve reached the age where I don’t give a toss whether other people like what I wear.

BlythesEyes · 14/07/2019 17:29

@Alsohuman
Yup me too!

Bellasblankexpression · 14/07/2019 17:47

I’m pregnant and five foot two. I figure it will either be excellent and roomy on me or look utterly hideous.
Anyone want to call it? Grin

BobbinThreadbare123 · 14/07/2019 17:53

Well it hasn't reached Cumbria yet....the nearest Zara is nearly 2 hr away anyhow! It's a muumuu and I am sick to death of seeing this frilly hem thing on everything. Also it looks like it's made of that sweaty thin polyester that all the shops have gone for. Not summery!

DickZillaofTheVilla · 14/07/2019 17:55

I think it’s horrible. I love a certain plus size blogger she always looks so elegant and I have serious outfit envy every time from her but not even she can sell me this dress. I think it looks like an old sack or a maternity nightie on everyone

Cinammoncake · 14/07/2019 18:04

I love that dress! Seen it a lot on people and it always looks good. But I tried it on and it looked crap on me, like an oversized nightie.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 14/07/2019 18:17

happy I’m 5ft 6 and a U.K. 10, mine is M. The shoulders are perfect, although the rest of it is billowy, if I had sized down it would have been neat across the top. It is designed to be sack-like!

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 14/07/2019 18:40

Looking at the model pic and the Insta account and to me, it's not doing anything for anyone. I honestly don't get it. Looks like a polka dot tent imo. But then I've moved away from instant fashion and like classic made to last mix and match style clothes these days. I'm clearly too old and far removed to 'get it' But I least my 20 year old mummy belly would be covered. So there's that going for it.

EdWinchester · 14/07/2019 18:41

I have the much nicer (imo) Oliver Bonas one

I haven't tried it on yet, so am hoping I don't look like a heifer in it.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 14/07/2019 18:50

The Oliver Bonas does look a bit better. Helped by the extra ruffle so less tent like.

Alsohuman · 14/07/2019 19:09

They look almost identical to me. I can’t see that a cotton lining justifies almost double the price.

EdWinchester · 14/07/2019 19:10

Yes, my worry too.

costacoffeecup · 14/07/2019 19:53

Ooh. I like the Oliver bonas one. It has stars on it.

EdWinchester · 14/07/2019 20:30

Yes, I am drawn to stars!

ChippyMinton · 14/07/2019 20:35

Fine if you are a 🐑.

I’ve seen it IRL and it’s not for me.

Bigbopboo · 14/07/2019 21:04

Several going for £40+ on eBay if anyone's interested.

Not sure it would do me any favours

fancynancyclancy · 14/07/2019 22:31

I like it but then I’m into big, oversized dresses. I haven’t got it as seen it around loads but didn’t think of dying it. I saw the Oliver B one in store last week & was debating, I’m not great with white.

applepieicecream · 15/07/2019 00:16

I’ve seen a few people wearing it. Most looked nondescript and boring in it but I saw someone last week wearing it and she looked incredible. She had it belted with a slim black belt with a gold buckle and she was wearing medium height espadrilles which laced up. She was very attractive and well groomed and she looked absolutely amazing

DrFoxtrot · 15/07/2019 17:18

I've seen a couple of people in it, neither looked great but I think styled right it would look good.

DrFoxtrot · 15/07/2019 17:19

Also, yes to people wearing it back to front, I think that looks better.
