Great shape and colour on the Boden dress soups and great to read you bagged the starry culottes which are the same fabric as the Kensington dress I managed to bag otherwise I’d have been tempted to get the culottes 🙌

Thanks for asking Soups - right as rain today, kids bounce back so quickly! We've had a lovely day - my mum is here so we were on the beach this morning, was so hot and sunny until midday we had a swim in the sea. Then mum and I went shopping, I bought my Mum a really lovely top and pair of shoes for her birthday. Had fish and chips for tea, a bottle of Prosecco between us and just about to start watching the second series of Keeping Faith now the kids are in bed. No one else showing any signs of catching the lurgy thank goodness!

Ella that sounds like the perfect day & yy kids amazing ability to just bounce back from lurgy, I was really tired today just pottered about & helping Dh in the garden, it was a mess not helped by the mad heat/rain we’ve had, was nice here today just pleasantly warm & thankfully the humidity seems to have cleared.

@soups if your daughters hairdresser recommended a certain range of products for her hair, have a look at the Facebook curly girl product swap group. People sell off products that they don't like and it's a good way to try new products. Let me know if you can't find it.

@miffy2 I just tie it off loose at the back. I forget they are even there but I wouldn't cut them off. I think they add to the look if that makes sense

Ive had a few Toast things come from the sale and keeping the Japanese trousers in Blue and the wide trousers in slate, but i have the green paisley dress coming also in a smaller size from the one I tried last week (I didnt post a photo of that as it was too big but will the new one if its ok ) .. I need to stop this Toast Madness (but Ive rather fallen in love with them again)

@whisky thank you for the tip, I will have a look. The hairdresser said dd's hair is quite heavy and she was getting build up with Cantu. She used brands called Inner Sense and i create hold gel. Think they're expensive!

soups I’ve not tried those CG brands so I’m afraid I can’t help there. Don’t feel you have to buy expensive brands. Umberto Giannini pink curl jelly is pretty good and usually on offer at Boots and as I said before the “Yes To” and “Naughty” ranges you can also get in Boots are CG friendly/no silicones.

Talking of Make up...I rate Charlotte Tillbury having had my make up done there for a special night out in my birthday (We went to see my favourite Opera La Traviatta at the Royal Opera House after). I really like some of her eye palettes and her magic cream. Anyway she’s got a sale on at the mo so I bought the Beach sticks as I don’t like using powder blusher anymore (highlights all my wrinkles!) and a cream eyeshadow (eyes to memerise) which I thought would be nice for my hols in Spain. It’s called Veroushka and it looks good/green.
I don’t wear much make up on an everyday basis but I do like to glam up for evenings and I actually need blusher! Even with 40% off it wasn’t cheap but all the other things I bought from that makeup visit 2 years ago has lasted well so I hope I won’t be disappointed...

Bloody eyephone! Meant eyeshadow is gold/green not good/green but yes I do hope it’s good too...

Well my OB glasses have arrived and I'm keeping.. they are really lovely and although I need prescription ones for general use these will be good for reading outside on holiday etc.
Had the most hilarious experience with a pair of Levi's I'd ordered.. they looked really nice on the website but dear me they were terrible and I mean really really bad! Not a good look! I wish I'd taken a photo to show you all for comedy value but I'm afraid they are all packed up and ready to go back.
