It’s taken me a while to catch up as with rock festival haven’t had much time online. But today is rainy and welcome relief from the rain (we’re only a few miles north of Cambridge which was officially the hottest spot in the country EVER on Thursday at 38.7C 😅).
Had a great time yesterday too but today we may give it a miss as we’re both a bit shattered, and just return tomorrow for a full last day. Didn’t drink much either (lots of water mainly) but the late nights/uncomfortable sleep last few days have caught up with me! So a nice chilled day at home beckons.

Sorry about the eyes. I wear contact lenses (blind as a bat) but once had an ulcer which really scared me so I don’t wear every day anymore.

soups what an exhausting trip back, but indeed you were lucky to get back and make DD’s appointment as flights were badly disrupted with the weather here (what is it about GB and weather, can’t travel in the winter if it snows or in the autumn for leaves on tracks or in the summer as the ancient infrastructure melts down 😂). Glad DD was happy with cut, if the CG hairdresser cut a lot it’s probably because she needs it to give it the right shape and it’ll grow beautifully now. Yes I feared Cantu May be too heavy (it is for me). Try the Yes to and Naughty ranges at Boots which are often on offer and not as £££ as Bucleme but better quality. Though to me the Bucleme hair get and curl cream are worth the expense for styling. I do use a diffuser to dry my curls cause my hair take Hours and Hours to dry and I like the volume it gives my roots but CG method recommends drying naturally so no need to diffuse if DD prefers to dry it naturally.
The festival bands were great btw and more to come tomorrow. Thursday I wore the Hush red skirt with a white T, yesterday my Hush embroidered jeans with another Hush white T and the blue embroidered jacket I picked up at Brand Alley when the temperature dropped at night. Felt great both days.
