Quick dash to Scotland for a few hours, running a workshop. I absolutely love those trousers, bought them from COS a few weeks back, and already worn them loads. I think I may be in the process of defection 😂

Oh, and forget to say - got a pair of Lucy and Yaks on Saturday - trousers not dungas. Omg. The comfort. And the packing - arrived in biodegradable bag, wrapped inside in a recycled sari and made with organic cotton. Even though the waist is elasticated, it also has belt loops plus huge deep pockets. I am seriously in love.

Lucy and Yaks

@ilovecherries I love the L&Y trousers - what size did you go for?

ilovecherries · 08/07/2019 10:15

The medium ella, as I wanted the baggier fit.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2019 11:02

Love the cos trousers @Ilovecherries. Lucy and yak trousers look great😁👍
Bought this whitestuff dress in sale and saltwater sandals bargain BNIB on ebay for £30! The dress i saw simeone wearing it and loved it. Sorry about the mucky mirror! I do clean it! 😮

Oh, that’s lovely, never. You have great legs, btw. Am always obsessed by other people’s legs, mine have had so much punishment they are a weird shape. Still obvs appreciate them, but yours are such a nice shape.

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2019 11:45

Thanks @cherries but I am actually quite self conscious of my legs as I do have stretch marks and a few broken veins from pregnancies. Its funny though cause as the years have gone on, I care less about those things and just bare them! Not any plans here today. I may continue with a painting that I have started [never seem to have the time any other time except on holidays] although its driving me nuts at the moment and everytime I do my dd wants to paint too. How was your camping @Ellapaella? Hope the weather stayed dry for you.

justilou1 · 08/07/2019 11:52

Cos trousers are FAB, @ilovecherries! I love the L&Y ones, too, but the COS ones, are super-FAB!!! You are looking super Skandi & cool!!!
Dress is a bit gorge, too, @Never!!! (For some reason, Mumsnet wants to change your name into Each's!!! The gremlins are at it again!)

I will share photos of my shopping when it arrives.. (in about a million years thanks to Aussie Post)

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2019 12:12

Looking forward to seeing your items @justilou1

Strange things happening on mumsnet. Sometimes I spend more time trying to find the name when it pops up suggestions [I don't use an app just the web page] Its very annoying!

dontcallmelen · 08/07/2019 12:49

cherries very stylish & the Lucy trousers look really really comfortable👍🏼

Seafolly swimsuit came tis lovely, just need to try on & see if it fits really really hope so, as the quality is lovely & a total bargain was £31.50 not £35.00 down from £98.00

Just yes look forward to seeing your new stuff as well, why is the post so slow in Australia, is it due too being such a vast country or just a rubbish service?

For me, I love the dark rinse midi skirt with split. Also the Chamonix chino trousers look nice. Love the tortoishell earrings and the star earrings. Lots of hoop...strange..

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2019 14:37

Oh and I love that swimsuit @dontcallmelen. Hope the fit is good for you :) I tried on a white one. It was lovely but not enough for me in the bood dept support wise. They are beautifully made but the original price is ridiculous.

SoyYo · 08/07/2019 14:49

FAB trousers cherries! Both look great on you and L&Y are outstanding.

Len great swimsuit! Ready to wow them on your Menorca break 😎 I love the print on it, and for Seafolly amazing bargain! I have ordered some old sale stock Boden bikini in weird sizes to see if I can make it work for my hols just cause I love the print, but I fear my 34G will defeat even a size 18 bikini top in Boden less than generous tops. We shall see... bonkers as I ordered the 10 bottoms Grin
I wholeheartedly agree on Fantasie bras btw. My fave make together with Goddard Glossies underwired non padded bras, exactly same size as Fantasie. I recommend 👍if you spot them on offer in Figleaves or Bravissimo sites www.gossard.com/collections/Lingerie/Glossies

And never beautiful print on your dress. Looking good and perfect attire for arty endeavours Smile

SoyYo · 08/07/2019 14:53

I’ll have a look at the autumn PR shots. Thanks never! Yes I think that dress print is just perfect and the right level of relaxed, and pockets!
The sandals look good too (I’m trying to resist some Moshulu ones on the sale that look sooo comfy...)

SoyYo · 08/07/2019 15:00

Now my take on the Scandi look with Gudrun latest sale purchases: print cotton jersey trousers and top and a bright blue tencel dress which is a bit clingy by itself but was cheap and works really well as a light foundation layer.
I think it’s more autumn/winter print but with a bright teal/violet or black top the cotton jersey is light enough to also wear in British summers.
Anyway I like the print and comfort enormously and keeping.

SoyYo · 08/07/2019 15:05

Mmm 🤔 photos don’t do the print justice so try again and the flowy top has buttons so when you do it it’s a very flattering shape on me well fitted and gently flaring out with pockets!

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2019 17:02

Beautiful print @SoyYo. Love the outfit. I always forget about Gudrun but they have such lovely things and lovely embroidery. Some of the stuff is beautiful.
Its really quiet on here today. Sadly really rainy outside here and set to stay that way until at least into Wednesday. I really hate the weather in Scotland.

SoyYo · 08/07/2019 17:15

Yes thanks never. Gudrun is a bit £££ (on a Toast level) so I mostly buy on the sale, she’s an artist really as she watercolours her prints first. And all the cotton is organic and high quality, very environment conscious and I love she uses real size models. And some beautiful older models too. It’s worth signing up on her website just to get her catalogues which are always in amazing locations with lovely narratives about the inspiration for a print or collection...
Oh I do feel for you up in Scotland, it’s warm and sunny again here today. Our in laws tried to persuade us for years when DC were little to move up there. I love the country and it’s people. Beautiful brave souls and wild countryside. But I knew the never ending rain and greyness would get to me. I live in the dryest part of GB (East Anglia) and struggle with winters here. In Scotland I’d wither...

SoyYo · 08/07/2019 17:50

Just had a look at the PR shots and the only thing I think I’d preorder with 20% off would be the Tuxedo blazer...I’ve been wanting a flattering plain tux for ages.
Boots are fab. Printed leggings are more expensive again? (£32 Hmm)
The blue fur jacket looks great too.

Other than that a bit Samey Hush look which is good as less tempting...till we see it on the models of course and then we’ll want it all. The power of advertising and a good pic eh...🤨

neveradullmoment99 · 08/07/2019 19:32

Very true @soyo. The models make it look so good! They always add extra stuff too that isn't on PR shots. It will be interesting to see :)

dontcallmelen · 08/07/2019 19:43

Oh my Soy love love the outfits💕
Aww never must admit some advantages of being southern softy another lovely day here in London, I feel for you I hate greyness definitely affects my mood, hope the painting goes well & will cheer you up.
