I'm weirdly worried about it. No one else to ask. Is this ok?

Re national dress, I've seen this on Norwegian graduates and it's amazing!

Lobsterquadrille2 · 12/06/2019 16:48

@LoafofSellotape thank you so much, and to everyone who has been lovely. I do know that posting on here opens you up to a free for all. I've become so used to my wig that I didn't expect comments on it! DD says I look fine without it ... maybe one day. 😀

Lovely dress and you have a fab figure. Please go, you'll make your DDs day!

Fatkins · 12/06/2019 17:07

I've definitely seen some parents in national dress at graduations. They looked amazing.

Lobsterquadrille2 · 12/06/2019 17:13

Just told DD and she says

Really nice dress! I obviously prefer your hair natural but it doesn’t look like a comedy wig in the slightest. What did other people say? Xx

And thank you so, so much to people who have messaged me.

I think you can slightly tell here because it’s quite rounded at the top. In the most recent photo it honestly looks like your hair. Quite perceptive of the person to notice, they were obviously desperate to pick you apart in some way...... xx

I think you look lovely @Lobsterquadrille2.

I'm an academic and have been to lots of student graduations over the years. You really can wear whatever you like and whatever you feel comfortable in. Some people get really dressed up as if they were going to a posh wedding, others are much more casual. A pretty dress and heels as you wearing is perfect, though a light jacket or cardigan in case it is cold in the ceremony hall is a good idea.

The only thing that really matters is that your daughter and you have a wonderful day celebrating her achievement. I hope you both enjoy yourselves Smile

Lobsterquadrille2 · 12/06/2019 17:30

Thank you so much. That's so kind of you. DD doesn't have any contact with her father (his choice) so this is quite special for us.

You look fabulous. Ignore the nasty bitches, their opinions are worthless.

BBBear · 12/06/2019 17:36

I don’t know anything about graduation outfits, but I loved the dress and think you look beautiful in the close up shot you just posted.

Have a wonderful day with your daughter. Please don’t miss it because of things a stranger on the internet has said x

justanswerthephone · 12/06/2019 17:37

This. The person who started the crap about your wig was being deliberately malicious. It wouldn't matter what it was they were going to find something. Says a lot about them. None of it good.

You look absolutely beautiful and don't let anyone ever make you think otherwise OP

The dress is lovely and perfectly suitable, I see tonnes of graduations and there is nothing "out there" about this. Just cardi in case of chilly hall!

You look great 😀

VanillaSugarr · 12/06/2019 17:43

Well I LOVE your hair in that photo and you’ll be turning heads for all the right reasons. Have a wonderful day!

Helpimfalling · 12/06/2019 17:47

Your figure omg!!

And that picture of you you just posted is amazing! But does look different wig wise to the first one

Love love love the last photo it that is a goood wig wish my hair looked that effortlessly chic

lonelysleep · 12/06/2019 17:54

@Lobsterquadrille2 The second pic looks natural so I think it must have been the way it was styled in the first pic.

And yet you STILL continue, shut the fuck up! My God I've never said that on MN but you really take the biscuit!

RuthW · 12/06/2019 17:59

I have my dd's graduation next month. Your outfit is lovely but you will probably need a jacket or cardi

managedmis · 12/06/2019 18:00

You look fucking great lobster and look like you're a lot of fun too!

Enjoy the graduation 🍷🎓

managedmis · 12/06/2019 18:00

Lonely, just go elsewhere

woodhill · 12/06/2019 18:01

Hobbs drew?

It looks very nice

Bluntness100 · 12/06/2019 18:02

I honestly didn't notice your hair in the first snap op, I simply looked at rhe dress as it isn't a great close up snap

The Second snap is much more close up and I think you look great and I'd say otherwise,

Lonely, you need to stop posting, it doesn't look ridiculous and I'm starting to wonder what's wrong with you posting all this stuff. To say such horrible things to the op then folllow it up with but can you all not say horrible things about me, is really lacking in self awareness.

IvanaPee · 12/06/2019 18:02

@lonelysleep honestly you’re so pathetic. Any attention is good attention, huh?

Mummy didn’t cuddle you enough as a child?

Just bore off. Weirdo.
