I've definitely seen some parents in national dress at graduations. They looked amazing.

I'm an academic and have been to lots of student graduations over the years. You really can wear whatever you like and whatever you feel comfortable in. Some people get really dressed up as if they were going to a posh wedding, others are much more casual. A pretty dress and heels as you wearing is perfect, though a light jacket or cardigan in case it is cold in the ceremony hall is a good idea.

The only thing that really matters is that your daughter and you have a wonderful day celebrating her achievement. I hope you both enjoy yourselves
