Grin cherries I actually have no idea if the Daniel ones are comfortable! Think maybe I'll get myself to my local branch and try them on. But suppose they're wonderfully comfortable and look amazing?? What then? Grin

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 17:52

Nice top soups mint velvet are sometimes good for tops.
I was wearing Topshop jeans & pink/white tie dye vest under a white cotton holey jumper from next & white menorcan sandals so reasonably stylish.

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 17:55

Then if you happy feet, it’s a no brainer😂
No help with Catalonia I’m afraid cherries don’t know it very well apart from Tossa de Mar many many years ago, maybe Soy might have some pointers, also happy belated birthday wishes to dh🎂

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2019 17:57

VC15 gives you 15% off the trainers if that helps @twosoups. Sometimes you have to buy the ones you know you love.

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2019 17:59

They are still pricey though.

grannycake · 16/05/2019 18:14

never I wear a cami bra from M&S under it in white

grannycake · 16/05/2019 18:18

cherries Girona itself is a lovely city with a lot of history we stayed not far from there a few years ago if you hire a car you find the nicer beaches or head into the pyrenees

Ellapaella · 16/05/2019 18:31

@twosoups1972 I love those Daniel trainers.. they are totally gorgeous- my vote is for them.

Ellapaella · 16/05/2019 18:55

If you like the zip but want cheaper @twosoups1972 these vans are nice. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Vans-Skool-Womens-Leather-Trainers/dp/B07KXZPWDP

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 19:28

Laska how funny I just came across those gold ones on Zalando site & thought ooh like those.

Laska2Meryls · 16/05/2019 19:36

MY CC is safe (from those at least!) and although fab, I wont be buying them Len. My Dune gold and leopard ones from last spring are almost pristine still .. that broken toe early last summer meant not much wear in any closed shoes at all, almost until winter boots were able to be worn ..

Laska2Meryls · 16/05/2019 19:48

Talisin I love all the purchases, all nice fab yellow skirt and its good to see the skirt in the same print as my top. I really love the striped jumper too,
Never I like the broderie top on you , but yes it night need a cami or bra topif you are wearing here, (fine for hot holiday though) , The Santana is lovely , bit i sent mine back because of not having anything that went with it .Love the denim jacket.

Not glad you went for the green Wren, I'm sure you will love it..

Twosoups MD jacket definitely .

Ooo I have had a bid on my shorts already ! and a few watchers on the Marissa Smile

Ellapaella · 16/05/2019 20:08

Actually never - I'm thinking the denim jacket will be perfect with the blue Santana skirt. I really love the pale denim, so good for summer - and it looks a great fit. I'm very jealous.
@Talisin love your stuff too. If Hush do one thing right consistently it's making lovely skirts.

Ellapaella · 16/05/2019 20:09

@Ninkaninus I love that Whistles dress. Is it a recent buy?

Ninkaninus · 16/05/2019 20:18

Ella thanks! I bought it around February time. I think I paid £49 for it so it’s cheaper now.

It’s so easy to wear, a really light but soft material. I like it because I can just throw it on, and it doesn’t cling anywhere so it’s forgiving.

Ellapaella · 16/05/2019 20:21

It's lovely - I bet you looked gorgeous today on your stroll to the shops. All your outfits sound very stylish. I need a dress like that - something not too clingy, it's a lovely colour too.

Ninkaninus · 16/05/2019 20:30

Thank you also to len and soups 🌷

I like that Mint Velvet tee!

Ninkaninus · 16/05/2019 20:37

Oh sorry just checked and it’s OOS.

Talisin · 16/05/2019 20:41

twosoups those Daniel trainers are gorgeous. Ridiculously expensive, yes, but if you really really love them and can afford them (and they fit) then there’s no point trying to scratch the itch with something inferior. Been there, done that, ended up buying the loved ones anyway later on.

GinandGingerBeer · 16/05/2019 20:44

Evening!
Love the MD leather jacket @soups it's gorgeous. I have had the hush leather jacket for two years and it looks much better now than it did when I bought it.
It's kinda moulded to me over time whereas it stuck out a bit at first. (Or maybe I've stuck out as I've put so much weight on!!)
Anyway, what I'm saying is they're an investment darling! A timeless piece which ages better with time, just like us fabulous hushistas!

Also love that denim jacket @never. Very flattering and versatile will look great with sundresses/marinas ( I think you have one?)
@Talisin Love everything you've posted. You look fab! Disappointing re the Santana being see through though. The other skirt I have to say I didn't really like on the website. It looked a bit 1980's but now I've seen it on you I've completely changed my mind.

@cherries You must be so proud of your DD. Amazing! I've just phoned ds1 @ uni and got my head well and truly bitten off when I asked about how revision was going .... 🤷🏻‍♀️

justilou1 · 17/05/2019 03:18

@soups - I think we’re unanimous about the MD jacket. It’s a bit special. The other one’s nice too, but the jersey lets it down a bit. The MD has a better cut. Love the trainers, but I would stand in dog poo or chewing gum the moment I stepped out of the shop in them. Couldn’t possibly justify even half that for trainers. (I know my own luck.) Wait for the sale, though! I am attempting to resuscitate my vacuum cleaner which has choked on dog hair (shedding season) and I’m going to attempt makeup for passport photo. Do you also find that makeup makes you look older, or am I doing it wrong? I wish I could sit through YouTube videos without getting stabby....

Ninkaninus · 17/05/2019 06:53

Yes make up does add years to the face. I keep it very light for that reason, especially on the eyes (some days I don’t even wear any). Hannah Martin does good easy tutorials and I don’t find her obnoxious to watch.

Ninkaninus · 17/05/2019 06:57

Lisa Eldridge is maybe even better.
