Broderie top is beautiful. I would wear it untucked with jeans or trousers, and tucked into a skirt (to avoid frump factor). I don’t think the see-throughness is an issue, personally.

Looks great with that denim jacket.

Laska2Meryls · 16/05/2019 15:06

I am selling Hush Shorts med length sz 14 ( too big for me now) and green Marissa Dress from last summer sz 10 (it comes up big so fits 12 also)
If anyone interested please pm me. Ebay auction is not live until 7pm this evening, so thought I'd offer here first

I also have a burgundy Ruched skirt , that I've not listed but do want to sell

Soups another vote for the MD jacket, yes a lot of money but think of the wear you will get from it & will last years😍
never love the denim jacket looks fab on you, the broderie top is pretty & looks very nice but definitely a bit see through, shame it’s not lined really as it’s quite expensive.
The rose gold sandals are very pretty & yy bright nail varnish always makes toes look much better, off down Zealando rabbit hole now.

twosoups1972 · 16/05/2019 15:13

The dress is really pretty laska

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 15:14

Nink yes Yy about wearing straight away, if the weekend is a ok weather wise I’m definitely going to wear it.

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 15:15

Arrggh I am tempted by laska's dress for sale!

twosoups1972 · 16/05/2019 15:28

Right I am keeping the MD jacket. I have been frantically Ebaying stuff to ease the guilt. Don't get that much for each item but a few pounds here and there does build up into something sizeable.

Now I have another dilemma - I have been lusting over these trainers:

www.danielfootwear.com/women-c2/parry-grey-suede-double-zip-ribbon-lace-trainers-p97992

But at that price not a chance. There is a Daniel footwear close to me and I popped in to enquire about sales but they were vague.

I have ordered these:
www.allsole.com/trainers-clothing-women-footwear/puma-women-s-platform-galaxy-trainers-grey-violet-puma-silver/11906916.html

They are nice but I'm not sure whether to hold out for the Daniel ones.

Laska2Meryls · 16/05/2019 15:37

Oh those Daniel trainers are so lovely.. two soups
But yes you need a lottery win,

( I've pmd you btw, no pressure ,seriously )

grannycake · 16/05/2019 16:12

never I have the broderie top and while it's great with trousers or jeans I don't think it looks particularly good with skirts. I tucked it into a chambray skirt yesterday but I still wasn't convinced. It does however look fine with denim shorts so I think I'll get enough wear out of it

Ellapaella · 16/05/2019 16:22

@neveradullmoment99 I love the denim jacket. Also like the broderie top - I know you're not a 'tucker' and I think it looks very nice there with the black trousers. See-thoroughness is fine, it's not particularly revealing, it looks lovely with the pale denim jacket (which I love - will you please stop posting lovely jackets that I can't afford 😂).

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2019 16:23

Thanks @granny. I was actually wondering whether I should try a size up in it? Although tbh, I think it would gape around the arms. Do you wear something under it?

neveradullmoment99 · 16/05/2019 16:26

I know, I think I am turning into laska and her love of jackets. Maybe I should be never@tenmillion jackets. Thanks for the thumbs up on the broderie top. I absolutely love the broderie on it or whatever you call it. Its very beautiful. Its not tight but neater than I would like cross my hips. I am a pear though. I find this thing happens often.

ilovecherries · 16/05/2019 16:28

Its a good price for a leather jacket, soup. Less than the hush one would be, even with a discount. And it's lovely :)

I am looking for last minute holiday ideas for our wedding anniversary which is only two weeks away. I've been thinking about Catalonia, but don't want to end up in lloret de mar - it may be lovely, but its just not for me. Bonus points if we can fly into Girona, as there are flights there from our teeny local airport along the road. Or any other ideas? Open to most things. I always think I want a city holiday, then the heat kills me, but also don't like lying by the pool getting fried.

I think I may just keep it...

Talisin · 16/05/2019 16:34

So, latest Hush haul (thanks to the Grazia code) all of which I am keeping. Santana maxi skirt in yellow - someone, I think maybe Gin, was asking about this yesterday - it’s lovely and wafty and a gorgeous goldy yellow. It’s also very see through in direct light so a slip definitely needed, oh and size down, it’s big.

The Paula maxi (same print as Laska’s vest top) I wasn’t too keen on when I took it out of the box, I didn’t expect the silky finish and it looked perhaps a bit garish close up. Tried it on anyway and loved it - the print and colours definitely look better at a slight distance, not quite ‘a full-on Monet’ but along those lines!

Last thing was the sheer striped jumper which I expected to look awful on me because boobs, but it didn’t. It’s actually very flattering, nice weight, right length, hangs well, also, not black! Something that is sorely lacking in my wardrobe, jumper-wise.

Also, to agree with everyone else already, twosoups, keep the MD jacket, it hangs beautifully.

Lovely outfits today, you all look great!

I decided to walk to the supermarket this afternoon. Wore my dress from whistles and it was the first outing for my silver fitflops I bought in the jan sales for £25, plus the bag I rediscovered this week. I’m extra happy because the stones in my cheapy but very pretty bracelet set (bought from M&S in the sale for £2) go perfectly with the green of my bag! 👍

The sun was shining when I left home. By the time I was walking back it was cloudy and windy and I probably looked a bit silly! 😆

Love everything @Talisan. I love that yellow skirt. Its beautiful.

Ninkaninus · 16/05/2019 17:03

Agree the yellow skirt is gorgeous! I’m averting my eyes again because I really want a beautiful, floaty maxi skirt for summer...

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 17:28

Talasin waves & love all your haul, looks fab.

dontcallmelen · 16/05/2019 17:31

Nink another lovely outfit, I love it when an outfit all comes together.

twosoups1972 · 16/05/2019 17:40

talisin another thumbs up for the yellow skirt. And the jumper is lovely too, I had my eye on it a while ago but I have too many jumpers!

Lovely outfit ninka I am a bit boring today - cropped blue/black Levi jeans and this top from Mint Velvet:

twosoups1972 · 16/05/2019 17:42

cherries holiday sounds exciting and congrats on your wedding anniversary! How about Barcelona?

twosoups1972 · 16/05/2019 17:43

I don't know what to do about the trainers, the Puma ones are perfectly nice but I totally love the Daniel ones. But even if they went down in the sale I imagine they would still be over £100. So much for a pair of trainers....
