That dress is fab binky - really nice colours. Hope your cold doesn't morph into anything worse and you feel better tomorrow... Never heard of sugar hill - and to be honest, probably shouldn't look. I'm a sucker for a nice print.
len - what a bargain! They look great.
never - Im glad you like the embroidered jacket - it sounds (and looks!) lovely - would love to see a photo. Also glad the gorgeous kimono got a mention
.
each - yy - I know what you mean. I've had a few duds from boden in the past few orders (not bought from them this season yet, though). Really shapeless and short. Get it together -Johnnie...
laska - I love your buys!! The santana with the stripe is great. I toyed with that when I got the bright blue one - but thought the stripe would annoy me, but it looks lovely on you - esp with the yellow T. The chevron vest really works with it too - good call.
ella - thats a lovely outfit with the zebra skirt - really summery. Also like the palm print sweatshirt - gorgeous colour. But I can't believe the sunset one sold out so quickly! never must have set a trend!
soy
(or maybe groan?!) at the milk. Thanks so much for your kind words and the link to gardeners. I'll have a browse... (we do have a friend who's a gardener - he only does the "posh bits" of Edinburgh now (long story) but he has suggested some of his mates so I should give them a call.). The foxes are fine - the adults can get out easily (jumping up onto our shed
and onto the wall behind - and there's a cemetery at the back and some woods further over), but the cubs won't be old enough to do that, and there aren't any obvious holes in the fences between gardens. I think hey may use it as a nursery because it is so enclosed (and lots of overgrown shrubs to hide under!) - there were 3 cubs last year and 2 this year. The mother is a bit sh*t - one of the cubs was scratching at our patio doors (reflection, I assume), and I went over to see what the noise was. The mother scarpered PDQ - but left the cub to fend for itself from the jaws of us scary humans - no carrying it away by the scruff or anything. But we just don't want to antagonise her... Anyway - I digress. I think you'll like the wren - it is definitely silky, and I reckon if you get a smallish size it would definitely be good for work as well as casual.
libby and cherries -YY - I know what you mean about sometimes hush being the only thing that will do! I can't get t-shirts from anywhere else now - and hush ones aren't even that good quality - but the shape and necklines just seem to work for me...
We've had such a lovely sunny and warm day today - I went out for a quick walk at lunchtime to get some chocolate and I was sweltering. Hope it stays nice for a few more days... But it was all spoilt when DS came home from school in tears (DH collects him as its on his way from work) - a dog had run up to him (he hates dogs) and actually bitten him on the bum 3 times
- there was a bite mark and everything. Apparently the owners found it very funny - though they did apologise - but scarpered soon after, along with their "funny smelling cigarettes". DH was on the verge of doing something that would have got him in trouble... DS was traumatised, and the whole thing isn't going to help his dog-phobia, which I'm trying to get him out of. Grrr.
