I am NOT enjoying choosing my wedding dress - pics

I’m getting married on my 45th birthday, in just a couple of weeks - and I’m so excited.

Except I’m at my fattest. Ever. And suddenly who I feel I am inside doesn’t match what’s in the mirror.

I simply can’t find a dress that suits me.

I keep thinking I’ve found ‘the one’ - then I see the pics and just feel I look heinous, and back it goes.

If I show the pics, can anyone out there give me honest feedback, make suggestions etc?

It’s a tiny registry office wedding followed by a nice dinner after.

Your waist looks teeny weeny if those recent pics! It really is a lovely dress. I'm not against he red tbh. But I think maybe it's the mis-matching cut outs on the shoes and the dress. A cleaner shoe style might help?

I think if I was to go red it would have to be a burgundy shade.

For £28 though, I don’t think I can go wrong with the Next shimmer ones.

Have you thought about a personal shopper service at a department store?

I like the shape of the first 2 dresses but they don't fit you properly and colours are boring- not very special or wedding-like.

Of the 3 choices so far, dress 2 is by far the nicest on you. If you were a wedding guest, that would be the one, but i would question it for a bride. The fact you sent it back, means that you weren't convinced either. You have a lovely shape, so do not despair, your perfect dress is out there.
