Coolsoy you have just proved my point about the Keiras being excellent workwear!! ( although, of courseit wasnt your outfit , the big boss was impressed with, but it probably helped you give a confident presentation, I'm sure.. ! ) They should pay you more! or give you that job .... but in Barcelona..

Ah I’ve only just caught up with the thread. Nice nice nice food at Eurostar, lots of drinks and also access to business lounge (more free drinks and snacks or breakfast).
Now I realise you want a short EU break for DH yes I highly recommend business class on Eurostar.

All the I like all the khaki around atm. Love the keira culottes and think they could work for both workwear and home with sandals. Like the ones from M&S though they do look thicker and more like a cargo fabric. The ones out of fatface are nice. Well still have the jumper but wasnt in today so need to go an pick up the biker tomorrow. So if i were to decide to keep it '[ although in all fairness i am not sure that the colour is 'me'] so probably going back. If thats the case, then will keep the jumper.

Oh yes you can’t quite read it but dessert is pear and Montelomar nougat tart (needless to say Dr Michael Mosley can wait 😂😂🤣)

@Laska, the weather has been beautiful here too although it was chilly this morning and it is very overcast atm. Going to hop on my bike like you after my dinner has settled. Was pleasantly surprised that my jeans felt looser. Hoping its all paying off.

Been lovely weather here too. Me and the dds had Subway sandwiches (their choice!) in the park, then I left dd1 in the library to study. Even though she's only doing one A Level she's still finding studying hard. Dd2 has GCSEs and is also working. Think it's going to be a stressful few months.

Btw thank you for being happy for me. It’s been a bit of a slog at times 😅 and our travel policy has just changed (used to be business class only on flights 6hours+) they’re now encouraging people to use More Rail travel (because you can work/I usually do but not tonight, tonight I deserve the eve off) and new policy has just been issued allowing first class/business travel on rail

For you @laska now they’ve brought the starter (hot meal comes later) already with the tiny pudding as you can see it’s not massive portions...just perfect. And wine lots of 🍷(not good if you have to work on arrival but great for me tonight)

It was yum! You get the bulgur wheat and the dessert and cheese with a roll, then they bring the hot meal (also really cute and tiny salmon on bed of spinach). Now eating the dessert (I know I know with coffee...) just perfect 👌

Showing my age now, does anyone remember black magic chocolates they used to have a montelimar nougat one, I bloomin loved black magic.

Yy khaki, such a versatile colour I have a lovely khaki shirt dress from years ago it comes out every summer.

I remember the montilimar. I thought they still did black magic? Do they not make those chocolates any more?

Ooh never maybe they do, I haven’t seen them for years Dh always used to buy me a box for our anniversary (legs it to local supermarket as now craving black magic)

@neveradullmoment99 I know you are like me and partial to a bit of a browse round Tesco occasionally, they have some lovely khaki coloured cami tops in, perfect for teaming up with anything beige or with jeans, I didn't get one as sadly none in my size.
