Let's see your non hideous sandals then!

On every thread where someone posts a picture of sandals to ask for advice, theres always a chorus of 'hideous', 'granny', 'fugly' etc. So please share some photos of sandals that you think are nice, stylish, chic, non-stomach-churning, whatever. Bear in mind that many of us need sandals to be comfortable and suitable for lots of walking. I promise no snarky comments!

I have issues with sandals. I like flip flop styles but if they have a smooth, plasticy inner sole I get blisters on the soles of my feet just walking a bit. They aren’t any good.

Birkies moulded inners are in the wrong places for my foot anatomy and I prefer a more flexible footbed.

I like Tevas but the straps rub my feet.

Those yoga slings are appealing though.

Since some of you are talking about Crocs, I thought I might show you the other non-hideous-but super comfy style they do.

It's called the...... Sexi Flip. YES I KNOW. But they're divinely comfy as they have a moulded sole, very cheap on Amazon, and actually look quite foxy for rubber things. I'll share a photo in a minute.

They're actually fairly wide feet! But I found I got away with the Crocs as they were sideless.

Normally I wear Birkenstocks. Though I can wear the normal width in those, I don't have to get the wide ones.

I don’t think this is really what the OP had in mind in terms of unfugly sandals but I’ve worn Havaianas flip flops for years, always in plain black. They’re the best flip flops ever. Not stylish but so comfy, I can walk for hours in them.

@evilharpy yes I love my havaiana's. I've had the same pair for 6 years and still going strong. I wear them with everything in summer and will be buying a black pair this summer, currently only have silver ones.

I discovered Palmairas last summer (thank you TK Maxx and knock offs from Aldi).

They don't tear my feet to shreds!

I can only do heels for a short while, so these are smarter than Birkenstocks.

Lots of v pretty sandals on Everything 5 pounds. Probably won't last 2 minutes but v pretty nontheless.

Love Havainas. My last pair lasted years...had a gold, fairly narrow style and they went with everything. Bought another pair for this year and some grey ones.

YY to Havainas, I have some that I bought years back and they're still going strong. Wouldn't go for a hike or walk all day in them, but can walk quite a bit in them very happily.
