On every thread where someone posts a picture of sandals to ask for advice, theres always a chorus of 'hideous', 'granny', 'fugly' etc. So please share some photos of sandals that you think are nice, stylish, chic, non-stomach-churning, whatever. Bear in mind that many of us need sandals to be comfortable and suitable for lots of walking. I promise no snarky comments!

Bang on I would say @Romax. I'm a 38.5 (annoying) and this is my unbecoming foot in a 39.

Many of the sandals on here are truly awful but those Doc Marten ones are another level and quite simply a crime against humanity & I can never unsee them now 😝

Susanna - I saw those fitflop ones IRL the other day & they're lovely.

I kind of love those rainbow coloured croc huaraches.

It's only Birkenstock's or flip flops for me. I have feet that have been complimented many times but really love how the Birkenstock looks ❤️

I can't believe how fucking rude people are about other people's choices. I can only think that there must be something missing in your life if you feel the need to denigrate and mock the preferences of others.

I wasn't going to comment on this thread (for the above reason), but just wanted to thank @Lovemusic33 and @WellTidy for introducing me to Moshulu. Had never heard of them before yesterday, but spent the evening on their website, ordered a pair of boots and work shoes in the sale over the phone this morning, and then drove to my nearest store this afternoon to try on sandals and get a feel for what sizes fit my feet (so I can snap up future things when prices reduced).

Feet in my my gorgeous sandals attached [[https://www.moshulu.co.uk/seville-waxy-leather-toe-loop-comfort-sandals.html]] - they feel like walking on cushions! The shade is a lighter, duskier pink waxed leather than it looks in the pic, and the perfectly co-ordinating nail varnish is from there too. I even got a pair of sun glasses that were reduced today. Almost bought ones [[https://www.moshulu.co.uk/hosta-metallic-leather-block-wedge-sandals.html]] or ones [[https://www.moshulu.co.uk/hosta-strappy-colour-block-wedge-sandals.html]] too - waiting for a reduction, I think.

@IrisApfelRocks I had also been looking over and over at those DM Xabier sandals and really like them - I love my DMs and think anything by them are well comfy. I love the chunky look, but they were ultimately too pricey for me. I'm keeping my eye on them for a sale, though!

Join happy to help! I found Moshulu through a similar thread a few years ago and I haven’t looked back. The Wasabi sandals will be must haves for me for years to come. Happy walking in comfort all summer!

After seeing starfleet's lovely winged Ancient Greek sandals I looked the brand up and really like most of their sandals. Which is brilliant but around £140 a pair for most of them. 😩 I can't justify that for such a tiny amount of leather. But they really nice.

Those AG sandals are utterly gorgeous. I've decided to cut my clothes/beauty spending to the bone until I've got enough to buy a pair.

@AhoyDelBoy there are a couple of pairs on eBay.

They are magical shoes- easy to wash, waterproof, light and pillowy soft. Heat the straps with a hairdryer and they mould to your feet.

I have no idea why crocs don’t bring them back!
