Just seen the boots!! Hideous!

Like the dress, hate the boots!

The colour looks very different in various photos I've seen in some it's jade in some it's darker.

Like the boots maybe not with that dress though.

Seems I'm in the minority then! I thought the Eponine skirt suit was lovely but this dress I'm just a bit meh on. For something bespoke I'd expect better!

The dress is just ok in my book. But I really don't like the colour.
My theory still holds (with me) that Kate, or her stylist, whoever - cannot accessorise for toffee.

I actually like that green dress, although in the first pic you shared, Queen, it manages to look like a frog talking out of the side of its mouth!!

It totally looks like an evil face! Can't not see it now.

Her hair however is beautifully swishy!

I think the dress is fine for a school visit - I like the colour. But the boots are awful.

I think what I like about the boots is that they're something I think I could see "real" people wearing! When she's swishing around her insanely high heeled court shoes, I am reminded that I actually know very few people, even in the City, who still wear those on a daily basis. But ankle books with a dress? Absolutely. Or lower heeled shoe? Sure. Or high heels with trousers... regularly.

on a side note, how brilliant is the singing? DC' school isn't bad... but they don't get that level of noise or consistency out of the kids!

Yes agree, it's the eyelets & the laces, if the boots had just had a discreet hidden zip they would have looked nice.

I'm happy she looks like she's dressed appropriately for this decade, but the evil frog thing hahahahahahhaa!

Evil frog face dress indeed for £2000 😱😱 wow!! I like the colour I think but Kate that cut doesn't suits Kate's body shape it just hangs. She is better suited to more tailored outfits in my opinion. I don't think the boots are bad the just don't suit the outfit they are to bulky. Her hair is as always perfect!

Love the boots. More modern than she usually goes for. Nice to see her changing up.

HATE the colour of the dress. Kermit. Looks lovely and toasty though.

I think it’s a bouclé, Jackie Kennedy type shift.
However for that money; you would not expect it to bunch up so much.
Kate has very narrow hips; so that trapèze shape looks baggy on her, rather than skimming.
Previous Goat dresses have been much shorter on Kate

First thing I saw was the evil cartoon face on that dress! Not a fan, I don't like the colour on her or the cut.

I have a Prince Phillip story! Talking about a programme my mum watched the other day and my dad said that his friend met him in the gents at a posh do a few years ago, he was there because his wife is a professor and quite important in education circles. Prince Phillip asked him why he was there and he said "I'm here with my wife, she told me I had to come" to which Phillip replied "I know the bloody feeling"
