Have I told you my Maxima Wedding story?

As you know, her parents were not permitted to attend (Father banned, Mum in solidarity)

I read in Dutch that Max and Wax jumped on a jet in their wedding clothes and went to meet Mama and Papa at a London hotel that night.

I really hope that's true.

Separately, Max lost her father and sister last year, so her sparkle is even more remarkable.

Why were her parents not allowed to attend her wedding?

Her father was a minister in the Argentinian dictatorship of the 1970s that murdered thousands of people. He claimed to have not known what was going on but that seems unlikely.

Was there some Nazi link too or am I thinking of Sylvia?

Or Princess Michael of Kent?

You're thinking of Sylvia - or perhaps Wax's father?

All three of them had fathers with alleged Nazi connections!

Zara has a jumper like that at the moment, false pie crust collar. I wonder if that's it? Not sure it came in that colour.

Love the neckline on her maj's dress but alas, like me, she is large of nork and lower down is not flattering. Is she breathing in that picture I wonder, she looks cut in half!

I think HM and PM both wore serious foundation garments in their youth, to give them that wasp-waisted silhouette. As slim as Kate and Meghan are, even they would struggle to fit in those 50s evening gowns.

Kate is in a green dress by Eponine today. Not sure I like it - it's a bit shapeless and will give rise to rumours of baby Cambridge no 4!

Bespoke dresses by Eponine are not cheap. The skirt suit she wore a while ago was £1200. And much nicer than this green dress!

I'm sorry but that's hideous.

I like it. And I like the boots. I'm just not 100% convinced that lime green is her colour (a few sizes up, and I could probably wear that outfit... )

Ironically, she seems to have more problems crouching in the boots than her normal heels. Maybe it's the restricted movement around the ankle?

I like it. It's not my style but it seems relaxed enough for a school environment...
