Not sure if it's expensive looking. Quite a dull silver, almost pewter. But v cheap from M&S - haven't been able to find it on website.

brimfull · 30/06/2007 21:56

I actually DO change my bag with the weather and my outfit, switch between orange principles one from last yr and green one I got in italy ,tan one on rainy days.Dh thinks I'm mad.

Whizzz · 30/06/2007 21:57

ggirl I have a Fatface summer scarf in lemon/orange so naturally it's OK for over 30s

(waits for Cod to say that they are crap)

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 21:58

not liking that a lot ggirl. bit studenty.... (unless you are a sudent?). how would you wear it? what would it add to an outfit? so "neutral" would just sit there unnoticed

JackieNo · 30/06/2007 21:59

Ooh - actually, have found the silver bag.

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 21:59

jackie. dull sounds good (in this context). carry on.... (did you see what i did there?)

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:00

approved.

JackieNo · 30/06/2007 22:01

Phew.

brimfull · 30/06/2007 22:01

well I wouldn't get one that colour, couldn't find a nice one on their website.Have had my colours done sweetie...made shopping today soooo much quicker!
I would get light blue one and wear with t-shirt and jeans ...non?

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:02

promise me you dont wear it with silver shoes though?

JackieNo · 30/06/2007 22:02

No, no - definitely no silver shoes.

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:02

that sounds perfectly good plan.
what are you?
i'm a jewelled winter myself [snurk]

brimfull · 30/06/2007 22:04

I am spring ,clear/warm and light I think, they don't do it in seasons now

MrsJohnCusack · 30/06/2007 22:06

oh lovely
I have MANY MANY accesories
Boxes full of jewellry (except earrings as have let the holes close up as allergic to every fecking thing that ever went in them) But I do now have clip ons courtesy of Whizzz which I must try properly....

have countless scarves/sequinny things
a vast collection of handbags/evening bags/any old bags
brooches, bracelets, hair things, rings - loadsa them

and the famous carefully transported halfway across the world shoe collection

I really, really miss Hobbs and Jigsaw

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:08

jigsaw is shite these days.... imho
v mumsy and droopy

MrsJohnCusack · 30/06/2007 22:13

oh good
then I'm not missing anything

Hobbs shoes though.....sob

it's good here for accessories though - am steadily accumulating even more. It's winter (boo) BUT that does mean lovely scarves and boots and being able to wear my lovely Brora raspberry cashmere gloves

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:15

where are you?
a girl cant go wrong in raspberry (or any) cashmere

MrsJohnCusack · 30/06/2007 22:21

NZ
those gloves are gorgeous - have been panting for it to get cold enough to wear them (Actually, they are fingerless but without separate fingers IYSWIM - like hand warmers)

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:22

brora summer sale is on at moment over here.... do you have a birthday friends might want to buy for?!

ProjectIcarus · 30/06/2007 22:33

scarves?

Is there no end to the things I do not own?

controlfreaky2 · 30/06/2007 22:35

scarves v overrated. dont be sad.

Aefondkiss · 01/07/2007 21:55

www.office.co.uk/perl/go.pl/hers_style.html?webcode=38&style_uid=3651&color_uid=9886&view=1

so what do you think of these style advisors?

and I have www.office.co.uk/perl/go.pl/hers_style.html?webcode=33&style_uid=1388&color_uid=3147&view=1 and they are really knackered after a year but I am thinking of buying them again because they have been good shoes, but if anyone can suggest alternatives I would be happy.
