Christmas and the sales are sadly over but winter is still here for a few months yet.

Come and show us your cosy knits and woolly hats whilst we dream of summer - everyone welcome, the more the merrier.

It's attention to detail dry and I love you for it Wink

Shop that bag (and the scarf!) Is totally me!! Will check it out when I'm over later this year (so excited about that).

Stoney our builders arrived this week. Can't believe how much is done already and really impressed with how tidy they are, the whole old laundry ripped out and internal walls removed, all rubbish gone and they hosed down the driveway before knocking off for the weekend.

libertyonhertravels · 18/01/2019 10:12

Stoney!!! Stokey obvs!!!

MarshaBradyo · 18/01/2019 17:20

Ok the venue for the 2nd March MU has been booked. There’s so many of us the manager had to ratify it Grin

The only thing is we have to let them know beforehand what we want to eat (!) so I’ll send the menu round in February, brace yourselves Wink

In other news I love my new Tom Ford frames v much, so much better than my old cheapos

Dreamqueen · 19/01/2019 06:35

Happy news in the Dreamqueen house last night!!! DIL is pregnant. there were lots of tears of joy and googling of some beautiful baby clothes. I think I've already got first grandchild syndrome Grin.

Viva and Mara does dermabrasion leave any redness on the skin? Justa I'll be interested in what you think of that gadget at the end of your 60 day trial.

Shop they're beautiful bags and agree that one is very Lib

I've ordered the sunblock that Justa recommended.

Dry I agree with Lib that the corners on the nylon Le Pliage wear out much quicker in the new bags whereas the one I bought many years ago have worn much better. I bought this Neo one last year and it's wearing ok. That might be because of the different material.

shopafrolic · 19/01/2019 10:16

Thanks for booking Marsha can't wait
Dream HUGE congrats - how exciting!
I'm off to a 3 hour yoga seminar this afternoon - first time I've ever done anything like this - feel a bit nervous Hmm

FedupNagging · 19/01/2019 12:17

Lovely news Dream, am so excited for you (& you ds. & dil!)

Enjoy this afternoon Shop

Hello!! I’ve been so busy that a new thread has started without me! I’ve been busy exercising and spring cleaning so have kind of lost my fashion mojo. I’ve got so many lovely clothes but feel like I haven’t worn them in such a long time.

dream congratulations. And you’re wardrobe is definitely how I imagined it!
viva what did you decide to keep? I like the jigsaw top best.
marsha can’t wait for the mu. Always good to have it to look forward to.

I’m about to don my thermals to go and watch Dd play netball so will be back tomorrow with links...

Longislandicetee · 19/01/2019 17:04

Evening everyone! Dream, many congratulations!! How wonderful and exciting for your family. Btw...Your wardrobe reminds me of mine at one point.Grin

With finding my earrings a few days ago, for the first time ever, i actually know where all my jewellery is!Shock I feel like I should celebrate by getting something to add to the collection!Wink

The only shopping I am doing at the moment is for ski gear for the kids so that's not very exciting. I was perusing handbags though...!

MarshaBradyo · 19/01/2019 19:51

Congratulations Dream how wonderful!

An emotional weekend here too. Dd had her second, and hopefully fingers crossed big time last, surgery today. She was very upset at various stages, even have blood pressure taken upsets her now, but a true brave little star. We are home now. She is fast asleep, bruised and in bandages but hopefully all ok when they’re off.

I got there early and cried at the stories from children on the big screen that had a thank you to the surgeons and staff. If anyone is lurking on this thread and works at a wonderful children’s hospital I thank you, with heartfelt thanks, it’s a place that is truly amazing , Flowers

libertyonhertravels · 19/01/2019 23:38

Wonderful news dream how exciting for you all Smile

Poor little miniMarsha - fingers crossed this is sorted now and she can stay well clear of the folk in scrubs for a while.

shopafrolic · 20/01/2019 10:05

Hope you and miniMarsha had a comfortable night Marsha
I came home from my yoga seminar to find out there has been a family bereavement, very sad and made ha4er by the fact that DF doesn’t seem to acknowledge what has happened which makes DM v sad.
Getting old is lousy.
Not much style news to report. My studded boots that I got from the Dressing Room have been my Best Buy so far, super comfortable and great with skinnies and my faux fur.
Sending love to you all.

QueenCerise · 20/01/2019 10:13

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 20/01/2019 22:40

Hello hello :) sorry I've been awol, I'm coming to the end of my mat leave (2 more weeks!) and time has been flying by, I sort of lost track of things and I have mixed feelings about going back to work. I've caught up now and wish I'd done it sooner, as I felt like I'm not alone when I read all the heartfelt posts around new year. Missed you all! (I'm in for the March MU btw, and July too)

Dream that's lovely news, you must be thrilled :) congratulations!

Shop sorry to hear your sad news.

Marsha fingers crossed for your brave DD that it's the last one, sounds like she did so well. Hope she is recovering nicely.

I've been angsting about what I'll wear when back at work, but after my nephew asked me at Christmas when my stomach was going to go back down Blush, I've been doing low carbing with DH and think I'm now within an inch or so of my old size, I fitted into my old pencil skirts the other day. So that's a relief but I have had a couple of purchases too:
M&S shirt dress
Also in camel
M&S silk blouse
Stories heeled Chelsea boots

Also ordered myself some new glasses (I'm a contacts wearer mainly but hadn't had new ones in about 9 years). Funnily enough Marsha I've gone for Tom Ford ones too! I got mine from the opticians because I get a discount and the ladies in there are so lovely Grin Anyway it's the lenses that cost the most, ugh.

Hope everyone is well and I'm soooo looking forward to the MU, especially after DH had a day out today to the football Grin
