Christmas and the sales are sadly over but winter is still here for a few months yet.

Come and show us your cosy knits and woolly hats whilst we dream of summer - everyone welcome, the more the merrier.

Blingy Shock is my face
I would weep!!

Fedup they are sooo cute, I’m often overwhelmed by the cuteness of it all then buy some stuff to get past it ;

Dd is doing really well, it does take a while for the healing process but she’s on track

Love this snow!

MarshaBradyo · 01/02/2019 09:42

Stokey interesting I like stuff like that

Dry great cuff

Dh is back from India and has the day off
Very nice

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/02/2019 09:50

Morning! Today is DH's last morning in the office and we are off to sunny Portugal this afternoon Smile escaping the snow! Anyone got any last minute tips for flying with a baby? We will be in business class so hopefully a bit of extra space will help. Then I'm back to work on Wed. Weather will be mid-high teens and sunny so I've just packed layers - jeans and tops and nice jumpers. Happy to report my white Levi's skinnies fit nicely- just my stubborn Acne and Topshop ones to go Grin

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/02/2019 09:53

Marsha so glad DD is doing well. Enjoy your day with DH Smile

Blingy oh no! Is it completely ruined? No wonder you could cry Sad

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/02/2019 09:56

Only 1 month to go until the MU Smile

MarshaBradyo · 01/02/2019 09:57

Oh my goodness how lovely Blair!!

I flew when dd was 6 months and it was ok as she still loved to be on me (still does!). Business will help, we did that too it was so nice. Have a wonderful time!

kittyhello · 01/02/2019 20:39

Blair have a lovely time in Portugal and hope your return to work goes smoothly.

Marsha glad dd is doing well.

Blingy Shock I did a sharp intake of breath when I read your post. How is it?

Dry I couldn't see your cuff but your outfit sounded great as per.

Shop I clicked on the M&S link and there are some great items on there, was impressed. Sorry to hear about df's fall, how is he now? Flowers

Fedup I really like Stan likes in off white I couldn't open the 2nd link.

Have a lovely weekend all.

Longislandicetee · 01/02/2019 22:20

Thank you for the MaxMara sweater sympatheties.Smile It looks a bit tight so shrank a bit and doesn't feel as soft. It did look like this on, ie a little loose. It's still hanging as I can't bear to look at it. I have worn it a lot over the past couple of weeks. Sob.Sad I was at home and hid from housekeeper all day as I had nothing good to say! Thank goodness it's Friday.

DryWhiteagainW · 01/02/2019 22:40

Another Me + Em dress day...this time black worn under slouchy camel cardi and animal print scarf......these dresses are so cosy in freezing weather..... colleague said my dress was v sexy Shock

VivaVegas · 02/02/2019 09:15

Hi, looks like I'm good for the MU Smile

kittyhello · 02/02/2019 09:17

Yeaay Viva will be great to meet you.

QueenCerise · 02/02/2019 09:35

That’s fab viva.
blair enjoy the sunshine. We have a few days in Spain at half term and I can’t wait! Feed or dummy at take off/landing for the ear pressure.
blingy you need to say something in case she does it again.

I’ve made a ss purchase this blouse. Although I’m beginning to panic it’s not navy Grin

I started my new job this week and although utterly exhausted I love it. Wearing a uniform 3 days a week though means that all my lovely clothes hardly get worn. I’m going to really have to think hard about any new purchases and whether I’ll wear them enough (I.e. the new pink top!).

Also bought a bourjois blusher. I usually use Bobbi brown and I don’t dont know whether I’m proud or embarrassed to admit that the one I’m using was bought for my wedding. 15 years ago Grin. Haven’t got time to go to a BB counter yet though so picked up bourjois in boots but impressed with it that may not bother with BB replacement.

Longislandicetee · 02/02/2019 10:13

Oh i like the idea of that top on you QueenC.Smile

I was hiding from said housekeeper because when i discovered it, I told her that all my cashmere is dry cleaned. Then she got defensive about it, and i just had to stop the conversation. She's just that kind of person. She only apologised when i said "I am not having a go as i know it was a mistake but i think i have the right to tell you not to put a £300 sweater in the wash". Marsha has met her and i think got the measure of her well!

Viva, it will be lovely to meet you.

I am shopping for our half term ski trip today. Just saw this ski jump suit that i bought last year for £750, and this year it's £900. That's really shocked me!

QueenCerise · 02/02/2019 10:35

blingy I can only hope she’s otherwise good at her job?

For those of you that have a nanny, any advice?? I’ve got one starting on Monday and because of yesterday’s snow I wasn’t able to speak with the finance person as she wasn’t in the office. I’ve got absolutely no clue about how it works teally

FedupNagging · 02/02/2019 12:28

No idea about Nannies Queen but nice top - pretty colour.

Shock at your poor cashmere jumper Blingy. Can you still wear it?

I'm always shrinking knitwear - recently it was the navy uniqlo polo neck I bought at the last mu. Luckily I've learnt to size up with wool/cashmere so now it's a snug fit with bracelet length sleeves & looks great with wide legged trousers and a wide cuff bangle - phew!

The Whistles dress I ordered ages ago finally arrived this week and am keeping.

I'm about to order some sheepskin insoles but there are mixed reviews - someone on here has some so wondering which brand and are they any good?

Longislandicetee · 02/02/2019 13:11

What do you need to know about nannies QueenC? Is she an after school nanny? There's also a nanny board on here and the regulars on there were really nice (though haven't been on there in years!)

QueenCerise · 02/02/2019 15:35

Before school blingy. I’m just not very good at managing people.

Thanks for the pink top love. I had a similar colour one a couple of years ago but had to get rid as it was so static and clingy.

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2019 17:32

I think the best thing is to be clear about what you’d like them to do

So I’d say do homework, music then dinner and no screens - but different for morning

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2019 17:34

Fedup lovely dress and QueenC great pink

I’m starting to mentally prepare myself for long haul flight next week - drew some diagrams for the family so they could reassure me business is the right way to go.
Feeling obsessed with seat space!

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2019 17:35

Viva that’s brilliant

Blingy that ski suit is hot stuff l, I don’t ski but would go to the snow for style like that

VivaVegas · 02/02/2019 17:36

Excited to finally get to one, do you PM the venue to people? Be gentle with me, self esteem and confidence are not high at the moment thanks to my ar** of a H. However I love a Prosecco or 5 so all should be good!

QueenCerise · 02/02/2019 17:42

viva I think marsha has organised this time so will pm with details nearer the time. Venue is usually convent garden way.
Actually we should book somewhere for afterwards instead of doing our usual thing of trailing round trying to fit in somewhere. stokey you’re always good with knowing places. Anywhere we can book for later?
viva I can meet you beforehand if you like so you don’t walk in alone?

Is it too early to start outfit planning Grin

VivaVegas · 02/02/2019 17:49

Lovely pink top Queen. Fedup I got that dress in the sale too and it's lovely but sadly it didn't love me!
Have just ordered a bargain Whistles dress from ASOS in the sale for £19.50 down from £99 so hopefully that's a keeper!

VivaVegas · 02/02/2019 17:50

Thanks Queen I'll be coming into Charing Cross so nice and near.

MarshaBradyo · 02/02/2019 17:54

Oh yes very near you can walk, I’ll pm you
