I've chucked away 2 single rimmel eyeshadows that on reflection were probably purchased in 1999.... they had gone a bit hard!

Finished a bottle of Australis ultra dark violet-base tan. Very mediocre, will not repurchase.

Finally, ive used up the Margaret Dabbs nail and cuticle serum. Been using it on and off since i got it a year or 2 ago?
Starting an Essie apricot oil now, another few years before i manage to finish this up!

Clinique liquid face soap. Done.

Natura Siberica hair mask. FINALLY finished. Wasn't great really, and took me longer to use up than I care to admit.

I've finished a Fenjal cleanse and nourish body wash which was a gift. I really enjoyed it but lots of others in the stash to use up next.

Maxfactor mascara finished. It was a freebie from a pack Dm was given when she bought foundation for dgrandma. Was ok. I think it was the glam eyes one (or similar) gold tube.

Moved onto soap n glory mascara. Today is day 1 so will see how we go.

I’ve finished a shower gel, I think Radox but not sure. It was pink grapefruit and basil. Cheap as chips and surprisingly lovely I would repurchase. And might have to - I thought I had enough shower gel to last a lifetime but I only have a couple left. One is a huge soap and glory one though so that’s at least a decade worth!!

Oh I have found you! I have been sorting out my toiletries and am appalled at how much I have. And how few of them I like! I have chosen cheap products and been a sucker for BOGOF deals, free samples etc.
But no more!

I'm starting to take care of myself (after about 20 yrs of neglect) and have just bought a whole load of better quality products (following MN S&B advice) and need to make room for them.

So thanks for this inspiring thread, starting today, I am going to ditch the really old products and use up the rest.

Small mini travel size clarins cleansing milk gone.

Currently working to use up:

• Clinique cleansing gel
• sanctuary body scrub
• jo Malone Lime basil mandarin body lotion
• clarins day moisturiser
• Clinique take the day off lotion - don’t like this as much as the liquid stuff
• soap n glory heel genius - I’ve got patches of dry skin on my feet so am using this daily when I remember

Lorial strengthening conditioner finished. Not bad tbh but using a colour protect treseme one now.

Jo Malone body lotion finished. Yay.

Used up a bar soap, tesco bath foam, Paula's choice BHA (already repurchased), argan oil hair mask, sample size mascara, head and shoulders shampoo, superdrug tea tree face mask.

Have finally replaced all my basic supermarket products with high end salon ranges so I'm really excited to start them all

Used up my Palmer's cocoa butter body lotion. Hooray. As much as I enjoyed the smell, I found it quite overpowering at times. Back to good old trust Nivea for dry skin. Nearly finished a hand cream - for the first time ever too, since my hands have been sadly neglected to date.

I've managed to use up several products including those dreaded sachets, an Organix rose facial oil, a simple shower gel & cleared out my cupboards so things are in groups.

Have sachets on the dressing table to utilise. No more calendars or beauty boxes for a while I think

Dove cashmere soft body lotion used. My skin was super soft. I loved this. 1 more down another 30 something body lotions to go!
Dermalogic powder microfoliant. Prefer st ives.
Boots tea tree charcoal mask.
2 superdrug nose strips. 2 packs left to use.
Carex bubblegum shower gel. Suprised, my skin was soft and didnt react badly to the strong scent.
Pixi. Rose clay cleanser. Meh?
Simple travel size face wash.

Oh, I think this might be a thread for me. I have a box of samples I have decided to try and work my way through. Mainly because I can't fit it in the stash drawer.

My hand cream and body lotion stock is ridiculous. My goal is to use what I can before November and the remainder is going to the PTA Xmas sale.

I have already bought a new one (they had a 3for2 in Boots)

Finished up a handcream....Institut Katie she's butter. Bought a trio pack in TK Maxx for probably about the price of one tube on their website. pleased with the bargain as Def think this handcream is very close to loccitane Shea butter handcream.

Also finished up a small Caudalie The de Vigne shower gel....love it, so bought a large version last Christmas when I was in Munich. Will hold off on opening the large one for a while as have other things to work through first....

I'm on a decluttering mission and have managed to clear clothes and lots of other things. However my goo hoarding needs addressing. I've not bought anything new for ages but I really need to use up/get rid of lots of things.l and streamline my stuff (especially make up!)

Charlotte Tilbury wonderglow primer. Love this, bored now though. Time to use up a Laura Mercier one which only has a few more applications left to it.

IGK First Class dry shampoo. Love. Will repurchase eventually. My dry shampoo stash is growing
