Thanks EmEm :)

I've finished a sample size of l'occitant immortelle divine cream tonight. I really loved this, it felt luxurious without making my face feel oily in the morning. I'd consider repurchasing but I have a fair amount of stash to use, it's very expensive and I don't know what my skin will be doing after pregnancy. So I'll file it under 'maybe'!

Experiment627 · 04/02/2019 10:56

@CantChoose best of luck with the c-birth! Looking forward to hearing about the storks arrival!!!

I have an empty:

  • Childs Farm Baby moisturiser sensitive: Kwicklet likes this but so does his mum!!! Sinks in fast and smells great! Handy pump too.

Had a pamper night on Saturday night. My favourite thing to do!💕 So got rid of a few things. Even though i have shite products everywhere, this threads helped me more to stick to my skincare regime and body care stuff. Getting through most stuff though, without finding the need to repurchase straight away.

Exfoliating foot mask- feet nice and soft. Skin should peel in 3-5 days. excitedBlush
7th heaven strawberry souffle mask- good for a quick mask. Have loads more.
111skin black diamond eyemask- didnt notice a difference.
Dermalogica precleanse balm- Was going to repurchase, i love this product. But just not worth it!
St ives fresh skin scrub- have more
Body shop Aloe toner- would buy this again. Cant go wrong with BS toners.
Elegant touch polish remover.
Ogx 65 shampoo- comes out like a jelly?! Not worth £7, have more in backup. I think my hair gets bored of the same shampoo after a while.

Putting in the bin as have used and dont like. Pixi glow booster and CYO matte and blur primer. Just felt like cheap silicone, not risking prolong use, might break me out!

Thats all for nowGrin

WellTidy · 06/02/2019 12:37

Empties:

M&S les senteurs bath foam 100ml - loved this, and would happily buy again when I've used the other two that it came with in the set

Occitane tea rose (or something like that) body moisturiser 50ml. Strange texture (like a whipped mousse), and I was a bit meh about the smell, but it was a superb moisturiser. Light and not at all greasy but did a good job. Will not rebuy as I have litres of other body moisturisers to plough through.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night repair 7ml - love love love this, and have at least another 3 in the stash.

Waitrose heritage range peony and something (honeysuckle?) 500 ml bath foam - I don't know why I am including this as I but it all the time for the DC and use it daily but it helps for me to have something else to tick off my list (oh yes, I have long lists ...)

DH came home from a work trip with 30 ml bottles of Elemis shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body moisturiser. All absolutely lovely, but my stash seems to be getting bigger, which is sooooo not the point! I would have gone nuts if he'd left them in the hotel though, much less had the audacity to use them on himself.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 06/02/2019 22:23

Reporting in, I have finished

L'occitane conditioner 50ml, loved the smell but did not like the way if letf my hair feeling.

50ml refreshing shower gel from a hotel years and years ago.

chucked a bodyshop lip balm that went lumpy.

NakedAvenger · 07/02/2019 06:42

Reporting a Le Jour De Chanel empty. Couldn't work out if it was a serum or moisturiser. Used it Infrequently and I've had it for 4 years 😳so never saw the benefit. It's brother Le Nuit De Chanel will be following in its footsteps in a few days and the bugger gave me spots so glad to see the back of it.
Lovely containers though so using them for display in the guest bathroom like a pseud

Caggie09 · 07/02/2019 15:20

Before everything builds up and i end up with a massive list again!

REN bio retiniod crea. Used on my neck, neither bad or good. Sample size.
St ives fresh skin travel size scrub. Holy grail.
Cheap cucumber eye pads that have dried out. Time for the bin!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/02/2019 22:31

Rituals foam shower gel. The red one ,
It was 'ok' but I like the Rice Milk/ Cherry Blossom one best .

There are about 4-5 bottles lurking on the brink of being finished , I am getting them lined up on the side of the bath tomorrow so they can get used

Experiment627 · 10/02/2019 07:58

Great progress ladies!!!

I have two empties:

  • First Aid deep cleanser 28.3g: blackheads still on nose so this is a fail
  • PS night serum 30ml: this is from Primark - for the price this was fab!
  • I finished a soap from Yorkshire something or other: looked like a cake - was nice, broke up really easily which is not necessarily a bad thing as it got used up fast Grin

I am hopefully moving flats soon... so an opportunity to declutter further but also have better bathroom storage for stash...

WellTidy · 11/02/2019 08:46

Just a couple of empties - superdrug avocado and honey shampoo and conditioner (both 50ml). Would not buy, they were freebies in the first place!

70 I have a few of those Rituals shower foam gels. I have the sakura one on the go at the moment. I like them a lot, but they last me absolutely ages and I get really bored. I only use them in the shower and I alternate baths and showers, so one of the 250ml cans can last me a good couple of months. I am not a smelly welly, honest.

CantChoose · 12/02/2019 08:55

I've finished an origins ginseng moisturiser, it was a beauty box or advent calendar one but it's a product I used to use regularly and I'd forgotten how much I like it. It's supposed to be energising so I might need to repurchase since BabyCant arrived on Wednesday Shock
I'm feeling predictably fatigued so am treating myself to a marine cream sample in it's place.

MinniesMum1606 · 12/02/2019 15:17

I used my last £20 last week on a Glamglow brightening face mask, it was £16.50 for 15g plus p+p, I fucking love face masks and especially brightening ones! This one really does work! I actually first heard of Glamglow a few years ago & made a mental note to try it, and just didGrin

ememem84 · 12/02/2019 17:25

cant wowowow!!! Congratulations!!! Xxx hope you’re both doing ok. Details please.

Ds/dd? Weight? Absolutely perfect squishybabyness?!

Experiment627 · 13/02/2019 09:26

CONGRATULATIONS @CantChoose !!!!!! Enjoy these magical days!!!!

I have an empty:

  • Carmex strawberry lip balm 10g: not my favourite - a bit gunky

I am not doing so great on my 14 by Valentines list... where does the time go?

@MinniesMum1606 what colour is the packaging of the Glamglow mask you like?

OP posts:
WellTidy · 13/02/2019 09:50

Congratulations Cant. Love the way you dropped your news in there! And loving your continued devotion to the empties cause Smile

Empties: M and S pink grapefruit bath foam (actually, this is DS' bath foam, but nothing gets in the way of me reporting an empty) - would not repurchase. Excellent value for money at £3 for 500ml, but it smelled too sweet and synthetic compared to other pink grapefruit scents, and I think the mloral scents (like waitrose heritage range, which is the same price) bath foam is better

And: Bar of rose and glycerine soap which was a gift and I can't remember the manufacturer. I loved it. I have always been a big fan of bar soap and won't buy anything else anymore. I won't re-purchase right now as I have at least 8 bars of soap in the stash. But I have made a mental note to buy this when I next need a soap for the bath and only to buy British (cuts down on transport costs too).

WellTidy · 13/02/2019 09:54

Minnies Is the Glamglow mask you're referring to the one in the orange pot? I need (ahem!) another mask, but I was underwhelmed when I used the Glamglow black tub one a couple of years ago as I didn't see any difference in my skin (40 something, dry).

MinniesMum1606 · 13/02/2019 10:22

@Experiment627 the Glamglow mask is in an orange jar.

MinniesMum1606 · 13/02/2019 10:23

Yes @WellTidy it is orange. I think some masks aren’t for all skin types which is why it doesn’t suit all, what was the black one for, brightening, cleaning etc?

MinniesMum1606 · 13/02/2019 10:24

I’m 30 something normal to combi @WellTidy

WellTidy · 13/02/2019 10:27

I probably expected a facelift in a jar Minnies but I will give the orange one a go I think.

CantChoose · 13/02/2019 13:05

@ememem84 he's the best baby ever, obviously! He's snuggled up on my chest post feed. Kept my up all night and I had to have an emergency gp appt this morning so I didn't get to have a lie in with him either. Very tired!
He was 6lb2 and we had some trouble feeding but he only lost 7% by his day 5 weigh in, im very proud of him!

Caggie09 · 13/02/2019 18:07

Cant, Congrats on your new arrival!

Bought a few goodies in Duty free. A Clarins body milk, love Clarins facial stufg. Never used body so looking foward to using. Picked my facial oil up too, and 2 perfumes. Im £300 lighterBlush
Really need to stop spending on products now.

Empties are:
Snow fairy 100g, love this scent. Anything sweet is my sort of scent. X2 in back up.

By terry rose city detox mask sachet. Loved this face mask, crackled on your face, but sunk into your skin. So disappeared and just wash away any left overs. Would repurchase, but far to pricey for me.

Hask superfruit shamp/cond 10ml. Was a freebie from Superdrug. Perfect for travelling, just another thing out of my ever growing drawer!

Experiment627 · 14/02/2019 17:30

I have two empties:

  • Garnier Ultimate Blends Maple Healer shampoo and conditioner (full size): really liked these but cannot find anymore!!! FFS!!!!

MinniesMum1606 · 14/02/2019 18:36

I think the best shampoo and conditioners are the ones that top salons sell, or Sally Hair & Beauty. A hairdresser once told me that all the shampoo+conditioner that is sold in Boots, Superdrug, Semichem, independent chemists, supermarkets, etc, etc, are all crap, and have different ingredients to that in salons & Sally’s, ever since she told me this, then I’ve never ever bought s+c from anywhere other than Sallys, or a top salon if Sallys doesn’t have it, my sallys doesn’t sell Paul Mitchell or Sebastian products, and these 2 are some of my favourites, I’m happy to spend £30 on both because in this case, then you really are getting what you paid for.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 15/02/2019 20:23

Finished a sample size Clarins neck cream. Lovely and light but not convinced seperate neck cream is needed.
