This is week 4 of the fourth boot camp of 2007 , everyone is welcome.

Veils drawn over last week

The rules (anyone can join):

This is about feeling better about yourself...not necessarily a diet per se etc etc

  • Sunscreen at all times. I know it's winter, there are still rays trying to damage your skin
  • No or little booze. Wine at the weekend is allowed if you want it
  • Walking is important, a small amount every day if possible. 30 mins if you can
  • Lots of water, aim for 2 litres a day
  • Apply body cream as often as possible
  • Use hand cream
  • Go to bed early, by 10.30pm if pos
  • Eat healthily
  • Be happy

The idea is that at the end of six weeks we all feel happier, healthier and glow with the good food, sleep, exercise, water and lack of sun damage

Saturday wasn't a good day food wise as we had friends staying and we went to a wildlife park and I made a huge picnic, with pie, and lots of yummy food. And then we had Pimms, and pink sparkling, and lots of wine, and seabass with wild mushrooms and salsa verde, and cheese, and chocolates, and a bloody good time. But it was a concious decision to be less healthy because I wanted to and I would enjoyit, not because I was comfort eating, or bored, or habit drinking.
And apart from a fried egg brique for breakfast and a coke for my slight hangover, I was good tody - haven't even touched the 3/4 bottle of pink sparkling in the fridge, and will probably actually give it to my friend tomorrow to avoid it going to waste.

And I've lost 6 pounds in the week!
