Neither of the York girls seems to have rebelled. Remember Zara with her tongue piercing ?
Kate's style has evolved from her mother's (in the early days she wore some of her mum's outfits). I wouldn't say Kate's style was ever Sloaney ( read garish) Remember the duchess of Westminster in the orange & zebra print dress.
On formal occasions; Kate dresses a bit like a young Queen.Elizabeth from the 1940s.
Speaking of retro, Meghan looked amazingin that dark blue Dior dress st the RAF thing.

I cannot wait for Eugenie's wedding. It is going to be a fashion feast (both good and bad'!)

QueenOfTheAndals · 15/08/2018 18:24

Oh I know @CurlyWurlyTwirly and it'll be the Fergie show! No way they'll be able to sideline her at her own daughter's wedding Grin

Pippa May be having a difficult pregnancy. There are rumours though and her father in law is defending allegations in France

QueenOfTheAndals · 15/08/2018 19:05

This is why we didn't see many photos of Kate during her pregnancies. Pippa looks OK, but maybe the spark has gone out of her since Harry married SmileGrinGrin sorry, Pippa Blush

susurration · 15/08/2018 19:29

She doesn't have much of a bump does she for someone who is 7 ish months pregnant. I love her tea dress though.

VanillaSugar · 15/08/2018 19:30

To get the thread back on track, I like Pippa's dress.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 15/08/2018 21:09

Yes I like Pippa’s dress. If I was at home having a brew and 7 months pregnant, I would be in jogging bottoms and a tshirt.
I wonder if she’ll have the baby at the Lindo wing too?

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 15/08/2018 21:15

Really like this dress she wore to her BILs birthday

susurration · 15/08/2018 21:28

The green dot dress accentuates her bump lovely and the mint colour really suits her skin tone. Lovely.

NigellasGuest · 15/08/2018 21:37

In those pics Pippa has a black spaniel that looks just like the one William and Kate have/had.... could she have adopted their dog? We haven't seen them with their dog for years!

lightonthewater · 15/08/2018 21:47

Actually she looks great in the one in the papers today, but this is an exception. I wondered about the dog too...

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 15/08/2018 22:03

Did anyone else notice that

It was handed to her inside here

I suspect Meghan watched videos of previous royal weddings and got the idea. I remember Sophie and it looked a bit untidy

Clionba · 15/08/2018 22:12

Everything was minutely and rigorously organised at that wedding. Meghan knew she was going up that scary flight of stone steps on her own in a long gown. Good thinking to have the bouquet in the Chapel!

Wheelerdeeler · 15/08/2018 22:23

Loved Pippa's mint green dress. Nicest thing she has worn in years

QueenOfTheAndals · 15/08/2018 22:43

That green dress is very pretty and it's the first time I've seen Pippa look substantially pregnant! She wore a lovely white broderie anglaise dress to Wimbledon last month too.

I like the tea dress too - lovely background colour. They must have tipped off the press about their little tea party, surely? Who takes tea outside the front door- surely there's a little courtyard at the back of the mews house? Unless there's no sun at the back in the afternoon or something?

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/08/2018 07:31

Yes, that little tea party looked as staged as Thomas Markle's shopping expeditions!

OP posts:
TheCraicDealer · 16/08/2018 08:18

I thought that too, peculiar place to sit for a cup of tea. Unless they've realised how long it's been since Pippa was seen with her FIL and they're trying to make a show of unity before he comes under more heat from the investigation in France. That's been rubbling on a while, must be something due to come out soon.

Watchingtheworldgoby · 16/08/2018 09:20

I thought the same. There is traffic right beside them. Completely staged. I wonder if BP advise them how to handle the press.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/08/2018 11:48

No its a Mews house; they don't have gardens and they are usually cul de sacs. Its quite normal to sit outside them.

Tiny though.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 16/08/2018 11:54

Maybe they are renting the news because this is their actual house

Its in Belgravia which must be one of the most expensive parts of London.

When's her baby due anyway?

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/08/2018 13:03

Lol how do the Mail know the intimate details of their bathroom sinks? Would planning permission documents go into that much detail?

QueenOfTheAndals · 16/08/2018 13:12

In royal fashion news, I love this blouse on CP Mary and although the colour of this dress is lovely, the neckline isn't the best and the belt seems superfluous.

OP posts:
QueenOfTheAndals · 16/08/2018 13:14

Nice dress on Princess Marie too, although Joachim looks kind of goofy in the uniform.
