Yup, cousins on both sides

Just saw some photos on Instagram of Sophie and Louise at the women’s hockey world cup final. Sophie looked great. Brown spotty dress, a bit reminiscent of Julia Roberts at the polo in Pretty Woman. Her arms look very toned!

Sophie and Louise look so normal. Sophie is apparently patron of 70 charities. She will definitely become the next safe pair of hands to take over from Princess Alexandra and the Gloucesters

Sophie does the school run on her own, no fuss, no bodyguard. She is quite an active member of the family, usually low key. Nice to get Louise involved.

Love Sophie's dress. Louise's is not quite right for her.

I'm not sure we even know where Louise and James go to school, they're that low-key!

Yes, they're very good at keeping the children's lives private. Sophie looks great - Louise is just a teenager, probably still trying to find her style, maybe not particularly interested in clothes! She always looks appropriate, so that's fine.

That dress is a trifle matronly for Louise but she's hardly going to show up in miniskirt and crop top! Looks like she's about to overtake her mother in height too.

She is tall! Maybe she's not really into fashion at the moment. At least she's cool in a summer dress. I don't think she'll be indulged with top end designer gear just yet!

i always think the children are dressed in a very old fashioned and unflattering way to be honest.

Louise is only 14 so at a really awkward age for dressing, I think I swan between matron and child at that point!

I looked awful at 14! I had absolutely no interest in clothes, so wore what my mum picked out! I look at photos now and I looked like her mini me!

Prince Harry & the Hole in his Shoe

This was an article in an American style / gossip magazine. So even the men get picked apart. They do look like those £1,000 handmade shoes which are resoled in leather. Does seem to show Harry doesn’t have a valet or staff. They are not even polished!

I believe today is Princess Beatrice's 30th birthday. I only know this because she was born the day before my younger brother!

Maybe Meghan's already spent all the joint clothing allowance

Go Fug Yourself has done a Beatrice style retrospective. There are actually several good outfits there. And a few reminders of how good-looking Prince William was in his early 20s!

She has a look of Princess Anne. How did I not notice it before?

Whoever put her in the fashion show dress should have known better. Was she the one who got a lot of stick for her weight? The fashion show was 2007. She was only 19 years old, a very young age to be on the receiving age of such criticism. People ought to have known better than to do that.

Bea and Princess Anne have the same receding chin and pouty lip thing going on.

Beatrice has a really tiny waist doesn't she? I don't think its noticeable most of the time but when she wears something fitted and suits her style you can see it..

I like the Beatrice retrospective. Where on earth do they keep all the clothes. She should definitely wear that Roksanda two piece again.
Problem with Bea is her hairstyle and also her features make her look old fashioned ( from another era)

Really enjoyed the Beatrice slideshow. Latterly I'd say she's had way more hits than misses. I think it's proper formalwear where she gets it very wrong.

I think Beatrice looks a little like old portraits of Queen Victoria!
