I think so!

justasecond · 16/08/2018 23:02

I'm glad you went for the prada in black blingy although I love a red bag it looks extra lush in black.
Grin at the lurker in the nighty!

I just got this new HA serum. pestle and mortar A few weeks of not using HA after running out really showed on my skin.
Wishing Blair well and looking forward to baby news...

Dreamqueen · 17/08/2018 06:50

Congrats on new job Mara.
Love the bag Blingy

I'm also thinking that no news from Blair is a good sign.

Shop how is DF? It must be so hard having him so much further from home & juggling everything.

*Justa8 let us know what the hyaluronic acid is like. I've been using a cheap one from The Ordinary with good effect but think I want to go higher end for my next purchase.

shopafrolic · 17/08/2018 07:46

DF is making slow progress Dream
He is managing a few steps on a walking frame but it will be a very different life when / if we get him home. I am having a few days break from visiting as we are away this weekend so will see how he’s doing again on Monday. Tough juggling things with miniShop in tow as it’s not the right environment to take him to.
DH took me out for a date night last night at the local Ivy Brasserie. I wasn’t happy with my outfit - skinny jeans, black Whistles top, Rockins scarf - felt more like Rod Stewart’s sister than a cool rock chick. Having my hair done so hopefully that will improve things but I feel v old and frumpy right now.
Blair all good thoughts with you

Everyonelovessparkles · 17/08/2018 08:08

Great bag blingy. Sounds like you had a good lunch!

Flowers shop it sounds like things are tough for you and your family at the moment. I’m sure the break this weekend will do you good. Your date night outfit sounded fine, maybe you’re just a bit (understandably) out of sorts with everything that is going on??

Do let us know about the new serum justa as your skin was lovely at the MU.

Hope things are ok with blair and she’s got her hand she full! Smile

Having a nice time in Cornwall. Weather isn’t great but managing to get out and about and been on the beach a couple of times.

QueenCelestial · 17/08/2018 11:48

FedupNagging · 17/08/2018 15:09

Lovely news Blair, congratulations. Bet he's absolutely gorgeous [fizz] Thanks

Dreamqueen · 17/08/2018 15:43

Congratulations to Blair & MrBlair and welcome to Baby Blair Flowers

justasecond · 17/08/2018 17:42

Hooray!! Excellent news, huge congratulations to Blair and Mr Blair

Re hylauronic acid, Dream [and thanks Everyone Blush] I would say defo upgrade from The Ordinary one. I have used that and didn't think much of it. Before this I was using this which I really liked and also this Niod mmcHA I would use both of these again. I have been using the Pestle and Mortar one for a few days and already my skin is much better. Looks smoother and more hydrated.

I use it with this vitamin C which is said to be as good as the ££ Skinceuticals one[[https://www.amazon.co.uk/Timeless-Skin-Care-Vitamin-Ferulic/dp/B01MU7Z7AZ/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?keywords=timeless+vitamin+c&tag=mumsnetforum-21&ie=UTF8&qid=1534524071&sr=8-3 vit c timless]]

shopafrolic · 17/08/2018 18:36

Ok some style stuff

MSGM dress was brilliant for the wedding and for the theatre 42nd St, wore with Manebi espadrilles which were perfect. So light and easier than anything else to walk in

These were all perfect in Italy and Marant skirt, Eugenia Kim hat, Mes Demoiselles. Chloe shorts, ATM t-shirt, L'agence and the Theory cashmere t

And had lots of lunches and dinners when I got back as my parents are here so wore the above and Sandro skirt which I'm glad I kept

I also got some Chloe sunglasses which are quite out there for me, but I like them.

This Rag&Bone was brilliant for travelling

The only thing that I didn't quite wear was the Raquel Allegra which I did take to Italy. So I need to find a good occasion to wear it

Ok that took ages, will post...

MarshaBradyo · 18/08/2018 10:20

My last minute shop for dd meant she wore Pili Carrera dress as it arrived the next day. So pleased I did as there were so many little girls running around in very gorgeous dresses the whole time.

Then Bonton dress arrived too late so she wore it to lunch at Balthazur on the last day.

It has been an intense time, fabulous as well as emotional, as on the day of the wedding there was medical emergency for my mother, we are all rallying together and she is so brave.

Packing now for Halkidiki tomorrow. Cannot wait! Just in time as the weather is looking more miserable, ie cloudy.

MarshaBradyo · 18/08/2018 10:21

Blair still thinking of you and little BabyBlair, can imagine the beautiful snuggles you are having right now

YvesKleinBlue · 18/08/2018 16:25

Congratulations blair on the arrival of little babyblair!

marsha so sorry to hear about your DM, I hope she feels better soon!

shop hugs for you!

QueenCelestial · 18/08/2018 20:44

Glad your clothes were all good marsha. What did you wear the Sandro skirt with in the end?

I went shopping the other day. Didn’t buy anything although want something but waiting for a discount code but saw lots of lovely things. Am planning a round up of high st stuff once my iPad is charged!! And then in the morning I may do a fantasy shop!

MarshaBradyo · 18/08/2018 21:23

QueenC I wore this Theory top not tucked in and blush suede Mansur Gs. I was really happy with it - and would love some shorts like in the pic

MarshaBradyo · 18/08/2018 21:24

And I’m glad I took so much stuff as Tuscany wedding was idyllic and a bit fashionista-ary with Europeans / NYCers and Aussies in different outfits every day

QueenCelestial · 18/08/2018 21:38

Sounds like you fitted right in marsha.

I tried this dress and this top. The dress was waaay too short which is a shame as I loved the print. The top fitted lovely but I was meh about the print!

QueenCelestial · 18/08/2018 21:48

Absolutely loved these boots but didn’t even try them on as I knew they wouldn’t suit me. Also loved the colour of these. Dune had a lot of the same boots as last year which surprised me.

QueenCelestial · 18/08/2018 21:52

I loved this blouse but just too similar to other blouse to justify the price. The colour of this sweatshirt is great for us winters but I don’t really need anymore.
