Seeing as the Spencer wedding thread in S&B was so popular, here's a thread to discuss all royal fashion.

(If we could stick to critiquing the clothes rather than the women wearing them then that would be great!)

Tbh I wouldn't curtsy.

It is protocol. The spouse of a head of state does not bow or curtsy.

But the spouses of commonwealth leaders all curtsied when they met her in a recent doc. Is it because she is the head of state in these countries?

I don't think there's any obligation for anyone to curtsy. Theresa May genuflecting for Prince William was ridiculous!

But I liked Melania’s dress —that Victoria Beckham ripped off from Roksanda and didn’t actually design herself—

as an american it would be hard for my opinion of Mr. and Mrs Trump to go any lower but if they had bowed/curtesied to the Queen of another country, it just might have discovered that rock bottom has a basement.

I think Victoria Beckham’s designs are very similar to a designer called Jill Sander

Roland Mouret designs all of VB so called designs. Its an open secret in fashion.

Theresa May is a fine example of a woman who always manages to err on the side of cringe-worthy sexy. Examples of what I mean are leather trews, leopard print and other 'daring' shoes, over the knee black patent boots, a red outfit she wore on Budget Day a while back that raised many an eyebrow, a black mini dress to a Pride of Britain event, and there are more.

Then there was that godawful plaid suit that was a giant leap too far in exactly the opposite direction.

Eek do not sully the thread with talk of Theresa May! She has no place in fashion....!

Derailing the thread - Letizia looking lovely in a simple white Hugo Boss shift dress. All her clothes fit so well, she looks very polished.

For years I thought Letizia must be tiny but she isn't. She just happens to be married to a giant!

True! I think he's 6ft 6? She always wears such high heels! This dress is lovely, classic and simple. No coat dresses for Leti! (actually I think she has worn one or two, but I forgive her because she mixes it up )

I think Letizia is 5'7, which Meghan claims to be but I seriously doubt. Even in heels she's much shorter than Harry!

I read Meghan 5' 5" which is probably nearer. Both she and Kate have arrived at Wimbledon. I like Meghan's shirt.

Love Meghan’s stripes and the palazzo pants (is that what they’re called?).

Both look good, although I prefer Meghan's outfit and the Panama hat.
