Sotd next eau nude

Wisdom no 26 by Tokyo Milk. A floral woody Musk that’s more aquatic due to Water Lily. I really like it but it’s barely lasted 2 hours.No 68 which is like a Beauforts ‘Fathom light’ lasts much better. Lovely salty mossy goodness with a slight touch of bilge rather than full on rotting hulk!

Wow had no idea the Oxford Street shop was closing. It will probably turn into a food market/ hall. Can’t imagine another department store moving in.

SOTD is Mary Greenwell Lemon. Interviewing people today so probably should have worn something softer. Oh well.

Hello, can I join in please? I've just been given the loveliest scent, Shadow by Ajmal. It comes in a beautiful bottle with dried rosebuds in the top. I wondered if anyone else had tried it, and if you could get anything by Ajmal in the UK (this came from Dubai).

I felt the need for some green perfume today, so I’m wearing Maison Martin Margiela’s (untitled). Lots of lovely green with incense and woods.

Welcome Raingods! I haven’t heard of Amjal Shadow. It sounds lovely. Amazon sell it, and some flankers. But I don’t know where you could go to test.

Not in York, mrsr, although there's one in Leeds and one in Huddersfield, I believe.

Raingods Ajmal is a new one on me. I've just looked the brand up on Fragrantica. Some of the bottle designs are amazing; really beautiful!

Thank you for DH recommendations - funnily enough I thought about Obsession for men as he tracked down the vintage Obsession for me for Christmas but thought it might be too matchy matchy will try the others, all look good thanks. I also thought of Creed Viking (as have an in joke about him being a Viking ) but will have to be a sample at those prices

I didn't like it when I first sprayed it, but it's settled quite pleasantly. And DH keeps wandering in going, 'ooh you smell lovely!' so I might change my mind on it.

SOTD is Tresor Midnight Rose which I forgot to mention yesterday - everyone compliments it and I know it's genuine and their not trying to tell me it's horrid as they've then bought it too!

Ended up in Tea Tonique by accident first thing (only thing in the glove box I fancied). Pleasantly aromatic and surprisingly long lasting.

Fancied a distraction from work pain tonight, so have dug out a couple of 4160s I haven't worn for a while. On my left, Goddess of Love and Perfume, which is alarmingly fruity on opening, passes very briefly through a Jicky-esque citrus curdled the vanilla note (couple of mins only), and is now settling down into a really rather good fruit chypre with a huge but nicely mannered moss note. It's quite a transition.

On my right, Parallel. The biggest and best caraway note I've ever smelt in an aromatic sandwich with mandarin and frankincense. This is dry and warm and very lovely.
