I have some Argyll & Bute ones (on my other phone, sadly) that you'd swear were coastal California.

Another one with Irish heritage. I'm OK with the heat, but my skin isn't. Even slathered in factor 50 I have to lurk in the shadows like a vampire .

Gorgeous photo, MrsR. My sister went to the Giant's Causeway last year in glorious, blue skies weather and her photos look like something from a glossy magazine spread. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Hope everyone feels less stressed soon- here in the south of Italy we are all in cardies and the kids coming over to the UK keep asking me how many coats to pack.

As I went out just after a massive thunderstorm I thought Library of Fragrance Petrichor would be appropriate.

Pineapple- Ealing Green is (so far) one of the 2 4160s that I'd bust a gut for a FB of- it's very green, but also quite sweet- it's much less "harsh" and sour for example than Cristalle, or 19, or Vent Vert etc. I love it. And so does the janitor perfumista at school under whose nose I stick my wrist daily. (I gave her my sample of Eau d'Hadrien the other week)

No Irish blood here but I am half welsh and super pale skinned with a lot of red in my hair (naturally, i dye it redder on purpose though) and a whole bunch of freckles and I feel HIDEOUS in this weather. I'm holed up in front of a fan trying not to move too much otherwise i Just start pouring with sweat. Attractive I'm sure!

Sotd was L' Eau De Artisan, nice, cool and refreshing. Need to reapply now though

Dropping in to ask if anyone would like to take a couple of Demeter/Library of Fragrance scents off my hands? They're Dirt and Gin & Tonic. Happy to give away rather than swap, I just prefer other scents to these ones. DM me if you'd like them.

I went to the Giants Causeway and Antrim coast in August 2014, and can I just say it did not look like that. We were wearing waterproofs and woolly hats. The wind was so strong you could lean into it without falling over and it had whipped up so much sea foam it looked like it was snowing. I'd still go back though

I will the first to admit we were damn lucky with the weather aubergine 😁

It truly was glorious. I'd never been before (family all in the republic) and is love to go back.

My eldest son and I did the game of thrones filming location tour 😁 which inc giants causeway

Titanic museum also great and Ulster museum had a game of thrones exhibit on 👍

SotD is Lanvin's Cardamone. Thank you so much MrsL I kinda left the package to one side as last week had a few too many deadlines. It sort of reminds me of Arrogant Cat dawn with some extra spice, assuming it has mellowed with age.

Bored senseless and full of pain killers as manged to total my shoulder, whilst mending the garage roof at the weekend. If you ever want to get through A&E quickly, go when the world cup is on. I was the only patient.

MotherWol- I have both of those and love them. Petrichor goes very well with Dirt. I'm sure someone will have them from you.

Fools I'm a bit late to this convo but imo Ealing Green, Rhubarb & Citrus, Pillow Talk and Another Kiss would be my choices. Ealing Green you already know, R&C is probably my favourite bright, crisp summer scent, cologne-like but lasting, sweet but not in any way sickly, just gorgeous. Pillow Talk is really soothing jasmine and sandalwood, feels quite luxurious and sexy in an understated way. And Another Kiss is just wonderful; bright from the lavender, cosy from the smoke and cinnamon, a perfect winter scent.

Still feeling knackered but brighter now I'm home. DP poured me a glass of cold white wine and is cooking tagliatelle; now I just need an early night and I'll be all set.

I bought 100ml of Britney Spears Fantasy today on offer at superdrug. The larger size was as much as the 50ml so it seemed rude not to. Gourmands arent really me and i wont want that much of it so im very happy to decant for anyone fancying something sweet among their goodies. It smells of white chocolate and something fruity.
