Sorry to hear that spex

It's taken me ALL day to format a file to send to a printing company.

If they e mail back and say it's not the right format I'll probably cry....

MrsRRR · 25/06/2018 18:43

Oh...and get the new extra sexiest scent as tour freebie (It's £££)

3DSpex · 25/06/2018 18:44

How frustrating1@MrsR.

In better news, I posted your Narciso Grin. It’s ‘signed for’ as I’ve had a few eBay parcels go missing lately so not taking any chances!

MrsRRR · 25/06/2018 18:59

Oooooooohhhhh
Thank you!!
Can't wait! (Excited!)

MrsRRR · 25/06/2018 19:50

I'm now in mrsgloss indoors.
Blimey I love this stuff!!

teta · 25/06/2018 19:53

ITS so hot here!
I’ve just walked the dog and the sun is still strong at 7.30.
It had to be Pamplousse Rose - for the refreshment .
I ordered Rook Neroli last night. As much for the Narcissus as the Neroli. Also fell in love with Thurible, but I feel it’s more of a winter comfort scent. I do find it perversely sensuous. It must be my catholic upbringing 😀.

BlueKittens · 25/06/2018 20:01

Family party this weekend- was so hot! Felt like I was abroad Grin

SOTD yesterday was Francis Kurkdjian Satin Mood. Fantastic oud blended with rose, violet and vanilla- so very wearable.

SOTD today was Miller Harris Rose Silence- a refreshing floral scent for a hot day. Home now after a long journey and Sote is Molinard Lavande... don’t usually like lavender but this ones gorgeous- lots of vanilla and almond- courted of MrsLucas

Trying to figure out who 3 is after a name change Confused did you used to be fancy?!

BlueKittens · 25/06/2018 20:03

Molinard Lavande lists vanilla, Tonka bean, benzoin, labdanum. So no almond in sight Blush and it was courtesy of the lovely MrsLucas

BlueKittens · 25/06/2018 20:07

BlueKittens · 25/06/2018 20:40

MrsRRR · 26/06/2018 06:54

It's toooooo hot 😫

MrsRRR · 26/06/2018 07:03

I think PP rive gauche for me today...

positivepineapple · 26/06/2018 08:22

SotD is Phaedon Pure Azure, rushing to leave and it was the only thing to hand.

It's even better this time round. I really enjoy the soapy note. Lovely for this weather.

positivepineapple · 26/06/2018 08:24

Talk to me about Ealing Green fragrant ones?

I'm still undecided on my three 4160's to buy.....

3DSpex · 26/06/2018 08:48

SOTD is Gucci Flora Mandarin again, from a mini bottle I got in a collection. Disappears after an hour, so it’s really more of a cologne, but I’m not up for anything strong in this heat.

pineapple - Ealing Green is fantastic in hot weather. It was one of the first samples I got from 4160 and was an immediate dislike. Very aromatic and herbal and quite unisex, which threw me as I tend towards more classic florals. But I revisited it last summer and feel in love in warmer weather. It has a very realistic grass note in the opening, and then I get lots of lavender, thyme and sage (which I don’t think is a listed note!). Very nicely done, but perhaps not a blind buy job?

Off to a 3 hour meeting now on Very Serious Topic. Hope they have air con!

teta · 26/06/2018 09:36

Cristalle edp today for a day that means business.
But it’s sll gone to pot. Bust a gut to return from 49min school run for electrician only to find he hasn’t turned up. Made the whole school bus late because of this bloody man. No phone call at all.
Then a lunchtime mammogram .
Oh the delights’

BlueKittens · 26/06/2018 10:10

Oh my, it’s so hot in the office today. Not many perfumes can withstand this heat so I’m wearing the powerhouse that Ruth Mastenbroek Amarosa- it’s a fresh fruity Tuberose- very mouthwatering and a bit woody. Have been waiting for some hot weather to wear this one

PlausibleSuit · 26/06/2018 10:55

Urgh, I can't handle this heat either. It's my Danish blood.

SOTD is Profumum Roma Ichnusa, which is currently demonstrating the hair's breadth between the scent of green fig, and that of wet cardboard.

MrsRRR · 26/06/2018 11:22

I've re-applied PP rive gauche before work

I'm half Irish and simply am not genetically equipped for heat like this 😫😂

What I'd give for a nice soft rain....sigh...

PlausibleSuit · 26/06/2018 12:10

I'm half Irish

My husband's half Irish too, MrsRRR. He said almost the exact same thing about rain this morning. "It never rains in London, it's not natural." Grin Oh, to be on the west coast of Scotland right now...

Ichnusa is settling a bit. Imagine Philosykos but less sweet. Fig leaves (oo-err) rather than the fruit. The wet cardboard smell has gone. I'm enjoying it.

auberginesrus · 26/06/2018 12:35

Oh I quite like the smell of wet cardboard Suit Grin

In Rome 1963 today, it's gorgeous and definitely on my 4160s list.

Blue if you've still got Paris 1947 and Apples and Pears going spare I'd be interested!

UnnecessaryFennel · 26/06/2018 12:36

Oh teta, what a day! Hope it improves.

No SOTD for me yet. Woke feeling utterly wrung out and exhausted, could hardly summon the energy to dress! Have been sleeping so badly, combination of heat and stress/worry, and it's all catching up with me I think. Staggered into work and have actually had to have a nap on the chairs in my office Hmm. Luckily I have a very understanding office mate...

However have got a long meeting this afternoon so may have to spray something just to get me through it.

I need a holiday.
