Ha ha! Well the holiday hasnt started that well.. got a taxi ( island taxis are v expensive btw) to Cowes. Thats about 14 miles from where I live.. bought tickets and then realised that phone wasnt in backpack !!!! Panic all round .... not in loo not in coffe shop not at ferry desk.. the taxi had left but luckily the lovely people at the ferryport let me use their phone to call him in case id dropped it incab.... but of course i couldnt get through ( its IOW festival and taxis all busy ) finally managed to get through no phone in cab but he rang it and said it was on. (No find a phone enabled on my phone so nothing for it but to get another taxi to do another round journey home and back and yes, there it was where id left it sitting on my desk from when he had called me to say he was on the way.
DUH!!! Expensive day! Ive spent £83 on taxis!!!.. just on train out of Southampton now. A ruddy good job we are not flying until morning! Sigh...

Oh dear. Well, it can only get better Laska Just picture that glorious sun and the lovely warm weather :)
Talking of warm weather its going to be a heat wave next week!!!! I am quite excited :) Out with my hush summer wardrobe
Ordered stuff yesterday. Wonder when it will be dispatched? I am so impatient!!

Still processing!!! Maybe dispatched tomorrow but I doubt it will come at the weekend so maybe Monday!

Looking forward to my holiday. Only a few weeks to go. Leave on the 16th July. Glad I am not leaving right away after stopping work. I hate the rush. I can quietly contemplate my holiday wardrobe!

I ordered the star jeans, if these don’t fit I am going to lie down in a very dark room, with lots of gin & have a sob fest.
Also got the lilac linen jumper & the rose/gold crepe top.

My mums appointment went really well. The lymph nodes were clear and she is cancer free She was really happy. She has to have a small bit of her skin cut away by local anaesthetic and will take about 20 mins. Its minor but its just an insurace policy as the cancer was very close to her skin. All in all very good. Thanks for asking :)

Oh and sadly not down for me either :(

Has anyone any experience of the Tulum shorts? I tried some of the things I've ordered in the sale on in John Lewis (bad mistake as I didn't like the two t-shirts on me). The Tulum shorts were an excellent fit and felt comfortable on but made of a very thin polyester material - they get good reviews but was wondering if this lasts the course?

I have them from seasons past. Very comfy. I think I ordered them in my own size 12. They seem pretty robust. I haven't worn them that much tbh but they are a lovely fabric imo. They don't feel horrible or static or anything. They are nice and cool. Polyester has come a long way. They feel like viscose tbh.

and hang nicely. Why haven't I worn them? I keep forgetting I have them and keep living in denim shorts ha ha....

It also wasn't that nice here last year. Lucky if we got a few warm days in a trot.

Was looking at the PJ's again and came across the piped printed kimono and was quite surprised at the price. At £85, I thought it would be silk! Viscose is what it is and worse still its sold out [shocked]
